Read moreJust spent the day on this beach and it was exactly what you see in the post cards! Beautiful sandy beach with lots of shade. Not crowded and there are even some beach chairs. Water is super clear with some rock spots that provide some nice snorkeling to watch many types of fish. Many hermit crabs along the beach where an old beached boat sits in the sand. There is also a bathroom available just off the beach by a the only little bar on the beach.

We took the "jungle road" on Google maps. It is literally a regular concrete road that winds and climbs for a long stretch before descending all the way back down to the beach. Some people say that you get to see the natural beauty of the island, however it's not terribly entertaining and there is significant trash along the route. ** Our recommendation is to take the route along the shore to Long Beach and scoot across from there. Much less strenuous and maybe 10-15 minutes from the far end of Long Beach. Be aware however that there is only 1 little bar that apparently only takes credit cards. Also there are no areas specified strictly for swimming and boats do come to shore across the entire area randomly. There is also some trash by the beached...
Read moreWe walked from long beach its arround 10 minutes uphill and then downhill, the toilets are very dirty and the (beach bar) doesnt seem very clean either,the taxi boats to take you back at tonsai pier ask for 200baht per person instead of 100 that asks 10 minute walk back to long beach! I think they rent beach chairs for 100baht per person! And at last that i am very dissapointed as we were flying our drone the guy that rents the chairs came and told us to put down our drone and when i asked him why he didnt answered!
