Ma Ma Kitchen (นายหญิง) — Restaurant in Krabi Province

Relatively pricy but mediocre at best. Staying at the nearby hotel, we decided to give it a shot. The atmosphere after the sundown is nothing noteworthy, little bit worn even. The waiter greeting us is overwhelmingly enthusiastic. At some point, excessively so. We order, the food arrives quickly. However, the spring rolls as entree are completely cold inside. Perhaps prepped well in advance and just tossed into fryer. They taste mediocre the best. After we sent these back, we receive them overheated and cut into half. The price is well above average, but the taste is still nothing noteworthy. When we get the curry, it is burning hot (spicy), although we asked for medium. Relaxed place to come for some beers (large Chang Bht140 (Apr24), great food and an incredible view of Long Beach, Maya Island and Phi Phi. Choice of tables/chairs or bean bags. Small section of sandy beach where you can rent sun loungers parasol for about Bht100 each a day. Right next door to Phi Phi The Beach Resort where we are staying (also great!).
