One of the few restaurants available without having to take a water taxi when you are staying in Phi Phi the Beach resort. Since theres such limited options in this area, visitors will still have to pick from the few restaurants. This place can be a hit and miss, and the restaurant has very limited # of staff compared to the number of tables they have set up. We ate here 2 times, both for dinner. The first time was very pleasant and satisfactory because we went a bit earlier, so there werent too many people yet. Proper serving & good food. However, for the 2nd dinner we went, I think it took about 30 minutes for the staff to take an order (and the staff took an order from another table that came after us), and another 40-50 minutes until we started getting our food. I believe there were about 15-20 tables when it was full, and only 1 staff was working as a server... Aside from the staff issue, the atmosphere is great here at night with lighting & various seating options, overlooking the sunset towards the west. They have daily grill options with fresh seafood & veges you can pick right off of the display at the entrance, and I thought that is also is another highlight for this restaurant. I would recommend dining here ONLY IF there arent too many tables filled up already. Try to go a bit earlier than your ususal dinner time to avoid a crowd.

If you are looking for a fancy tourist-restaurant - it’s nothing for you. If you are looking for a authentic place with tasty Thai food and extremely nice personal - you have to visit it! In my opinion, the best food on the long beach is in blue moon restaurant. We have been there several times and every time it was a really amazing culinary experience. I hope to visit this place once again! Ps. Many local people are eating there. For me it’s the best reference!

The hotel restaurant is double the price, this place was our home while on phi phi. The pad Thai was incredible, the smoothies were the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was amazing. Feet in the sand. The lady who runs is it the sweetest thing ever. They run a little bbq where you can get fresh seafood and 50 tbh corn on a stick The best idea ever. Never got sick eating here. Can’t recommend this place enough

My boyfriend and I went there twice to have dinner. We both had stomach issues afterwards. We were not sure at first whether it really was this restaurant which is why we decided to try again. After the second visit we also woke up with severe stomach aches and diarrhoea. We haven’t tried any of the other restaurants on long beach but definitely can’t recommend this one due to the lack of hygiene when preparing the food. It also is quite expensive but that seems to be normal...
