Baan Andaman Sea Surf Guesthouse — Attraction in Patong

The guesthouse has such a relaxed atmosphere, the surfing memorabilia and incense sticks set the vibe even more, you instantly feel chilled out when you get there! The rooms are very spacious with everything you need, they supply you with free coffee, tea and water everyday also. The hill is a bit of a trek if you're walking, but after a short while you'll get used to it and even if you're not just mention the hill to the tuk tuk drivers and they'll know exactly where you mean. But being on a hill it gives you a beautiful view over Patong and you also have a balcony to over look this view too. The place is kept clean and tidy and the pool is very clean also, the rooms are cleaned everyday with clean towels supplied each day. The beach isn't as far as some people make out, realistically it's a 15 minute walk unless you walk incredibly slow.||Overall the place has been a lovely experience and seeing as it's my first time in Thailand, it made me feel at home. Day and Andrea have been great hosts and I can't wait to return to Patong and to the hotel....

Perfect spot to live directly in Patong but have some quiet and even a nice view for your time “at home”.. we loved this place, exactly what we were looking for, we rented the upper one of the larger apartments (with kitchen) which nicely suits 2 persons.. you have lots of space, a great terrace with a nice view, the pool area is cosy but beautiful and we loved dipping into the pool in the evening after our trips to Patong center or the surrounding beaches, the owner is such a nice and genuine person, that helps with everything.. all staff is great and what was a special thing I really liked is how the main reception area was decorated.. lots of surf pictures, sculptures, trophys, very unique and absolutely lovely.. and the prices are more than worth it.. yes the road to it is a little steep but with a scooter no problem at all and my wife even liked walking up the small hill.. we can only recommend this place and are happy that we had found it searching for a nice place to stay in...
