I had the pleasure of dining at Marush Restaurant this evening, and the experience was nothing short of delightful from start to finish.
To begin, I went with a chicken burger — a hearty, flavorful choice that hit all the right notes. The patty was perfectly grilled, juicy on the inside with just the right amount of crisp on the outside. It came in a soft, fresh bun with a satisfying balance of toppings that didn’t overpower the chicken.
Next up was the grilled sea bass, which stole the show. Cooked to perfection, the fish was tender, flaky, and rich in natural flavor — enhanced rather than masked by light seasoning. The grill imparted a subtle smokiness that made each bite memorable.
To drink, I kept it classic with a Coke, which complemented the meal well — refreshing and crisp, especially alongside the burger.
But the highlight came at the end: a warm and thoughtful gesture from the Marush staff. They served us a complimentary mint tea, beautifully aromatic and soothing, paired with a small dessert that was delicately sweet and just the right size to round off the meal. It was a lovely surprise and a perfect ending.
The ambiance and service at Marush were also noteworthy — friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout.
Overall, this dinner was a great blend of hearty, refined, and comforting. I’ll definitely be returning — not just for the food, but for the genuine hospitality....
Read moreWe went to this restaurant with high expectations as the reviews were good and we could see a lot of Arabs eating there. Unexpectedly, the food was very bad, the eggplants sauce (I forgot the name) was tasting like vinegar and burnt, the pita bread wasn’t fresh and smelled like packed one. The salad came to the table already dressed and it was very acid. My chicken shawarma had old (probably recooked many times) and burnt meat inside, I asked for no sauces and they even forgot to put pickles and tomatoes on the side. French fries amount was ridiculously small (like 10 pieces). I didn’t like anything about the dinner (not even the green salad which is almost impossible not to make good!). Hot tea came in a small cup with no teapot and no refill. The bill was very expensive for what we ate. The restaurant might look fancy by the outside, but the quality of the food they serve is very questionable. It took me many hours after dinner to be able to digest it. Very, very...
Read moreWanted Knafeh but this tasted different from what I normally have. This seems more like cheese but the one I usually get back in Saudi is more of a cream. Like you break it apart and cream comes out. Nonetheless it was good. Not 400 baht good but still good if you are craving it. I got the salad bowl for 500 baht and also Turkish coffee. I was honestly expecting more than just an espresso size cup of coffee but it was a good experience. I didn’t enjoy the coffee. It tasted kinda minty and it was very strong in my opinion. I was the only Chinese in the restaurant and I felt like all the customers were staring at me but the staff is friendly and nice. Has free WiFi and bathroom. Also located directly across from the mosque and it seems to be on a Muslim street where all the stalls are halal and far cheaper than what you would find elsewhere. Hope this was...
