Prince Edouard — Hotel in Patong

I was here in March 2013 and February 2014, travelled solo||||For me, this is the second time at the Prince Edouard hotel, and the decision that brought me here, was always the same :||||- nice and quiet place where I can relax and play a few rounds of golf||||Once, I did a research on the internet, and I stumbled upon this place, and I immediately believed that it could be a good solution, which was then confirmed as a whole in my staying. ||||I must admit, that I'm not the kind of person who take decisions in relation to the comments on the internet, but I trust more on my intuition, which rarely betrayed me until now.||||The hotel location is on a hill with a spectacular view over Patong Bay, with a nice swimming pool, and in the evening You can enjoy a spectacular Sunset. The rooms are clean, very spacious and comfortable. The staff is very attentive and friendly, and the structure it's managed a little bit like a family.||||For my need the breakfast was good and sufficient, but I know that other people need more alternatives. The cleanliness and maintenance was good, and when I encounter a problem, the staff was always here to resolve it. For my passion ( playing golf ) I just had to ask, and the next day ( if there was space ) I was able to play where I want it. ||||I can just recommend this place, especially for someone who is looking for a quite place for relaxing, outside the hustle and bustle of Patong.||This is a...

Firstly the staff at the hotel were lovely. They did try to be helpful and we did get a free transfer to the airport due to the problems we had. The hotel has a lovely pool area for relaxing with a view towards the coast.||||This was our experience on arrival. I was expecting a one bedroom apartment but there was no separate bedroom so was actually what would be described in the UK as a studio apartment. I was disappointed but it wasn't the end of the world. My husband and I kicked off our shoes and sat on the balcony with a cold drink when after five minutes one of the terracotta tiles fell off the roof and missed my husband by a foot. I went to reception who said that the manager would come and see us within an hour but was still waiting 3 hours later. ||||So I decided to unpack which I was able to do after removing left over condoms and lube from the bedside draw. The lovely bath in the pictures was not particularly clean and we ended up not using the kitchenette as there were insects marching up and down the walls and surfaces.|||| My favourite memory was being woken up at 3am by a lady banging on our door looking for someone. Even though we live in the center of the island we decided to take a rest weekend in Patong to change the routine and taking advantage of the promotions of this property, and choose this place was an excelent decision.||It´s located on one of the hills of Patong so can have a great view of the city and Patong bay too; enought separate to the noise of the road but at the same time very near to the city, specially if you have a scooter.||Comfortable and clean rooms with Thai style, swimming pool, western breakfast and gardens of relaxing atmosphere where can enjoy the nature of the hills.||Grateful to all staffs, special mention to MEAN, at the reception, that took care us, she was very attentive and her advises about Patong city was very useful.||Overall was a very nice place and we...
