Let's start with Reception... Check in was ok but could be better and more welcoming, we were informed of a power outage the day after our check in date which would be between the hours of 8am and 5:30pm due to work in the area, by 6pm the power still wasn't back on and we had to go to reception to ask what was going on... we were told the power should be back on for 18:20 and it was. Keycard... we were only given one (there is two of us) when asked if we could have another as sometimes we like to go out on our own we were told only one key card per room and that if one of us wants to be let in we just have to ask at reception as the hotel is open 24hrs, fair enough I thought but then we were talking to another guest and he said he asked for another key card and was told he could have one of he paid 300 baht something we wouldn't of minded doing but wasn't given the option. 1,000 baht taken as a deposit for damage caused to your room while you are staying there, again not stated at the time of booking. We also felt that the lady behind the desk didn't seem very welcoming and friendly like we have experienced in Thailand and of Thai people.
The room: A/C not great and leaks. The bed is like sleeping on a stone slate. Only two plug sockets in the room and 1 or 2 in the bathroom, the tv was a waste of time, fridge in room and a kettle and safe. Various rules to stick to for example don't stain the sheets and there is a price list of items where if they are taken out of the room and don't get returned there it will cost you so much to replace it hence the deposit taken on check in. Hair dryer is supplied aswell as toothbrushes although they look basic and small shower gel bottles and shampoo and conditioner I'd say enough for one or two uses. The room housekeeper did a fantastic job. Getting back to the no power situation that also means if you are ill or fancy a day in the room or even want to come back for a shower to go out somewhere nice you have got no chance, you need the light on in the bathroom to be able to see what you are doing and when the power is the is no water or WiFi or Air con.
There is a small Gym but half the machinery doesn't work.
Nice pool.
Location wise it's probably a 15-20 min walk to the beach but 30-40 min if not a bit longer to the Jungcelon Shopping Centre and street markets in that area no forgetting Bangla Road.
Overall... if you just want a cheap room that's above hostel standards then go for it but for us and the money we paid we really didn't think we got what we paid for and would rather have gone back to another hotel further up the hill where we stayed last time.
Excursions can be booked on site and there are plenty to choose from.
Bike Rental can also be done on site.
We wanted a late check out to be quoted 3,500 baht which we thought was a little steep so we said no then two says later and still with enough notice we asked again to be given a lower price then the lady who offered us the same price a few days ago said no they were fully booked which we knew they weren't... we just had to wait now and...
Read moreThe Worst Hotel You Can Stay In! The experiences I had during my stay at this hotel were absolutely horrible. I can say that it was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I strongly advise other travelers who are considering staying here not to do so. First of all, I came here with my husband and 2 kids. Hotel is defenitely not hygenic for kids. The room seemed like it had not been cleaned at all. The bed sheets and pillowcases were stained, and there was dirt in the bathroom. When I entered the room, I was hit by an unpleasant smell. This clearly showed that the hotel's cleaning staff did a terrible job.
Also one of the biggest disappointment was that the hotel was not as advertised on their website. The pictures of the hotel and the room were misleading, and the actual conditions were far from what was promised. The room was not clean, and the furnishings were worn out and outdated. It was clear that the hotel had not been properly maintained or renovated in a long time. This was a huge letdown and made my stay even more unpleasant.
The hotel's amenities were also very limited.
The hotel only provided one room key card per room, which was inconvenient if my partner and I needed to go out separately. I didn’t know that so i had to wait my husband untill he comes back to hotel at midnight.
And also, I had to wake him up during the day severel times because I dont have any other key, because he sleeps until late an me and kids go in and out for breakfast, pool, etc.
Aditionally, we left out hotel card in the room today and when we came back, it was not there. The room service probably took our card after we leave the room, when we came back they tried to charge us 300 baht for a new key!
So please if you leave your personal belongings the room, please make sure that there is nothing precious left inside,it can be stolen any time!
Furthermore, the hotel charged me an exorbitant 700 baht for one towel, claiming that it was dirty. This was a completely unreasonable and unfair charge! And they never proove you anything! They just say it and charge it without any proove…
The Wi-Fi signal was very weak and kept cutting out. There was no restaurant on site, and I had to go out to find food every time.
However, the biggest problem with the hotel was its customer service. The staff were uninterested and unhelpful. They didn't respond to my requests promptly and seemed to lack any hospitality training. This made me feel undervalued and uncomfortable during my stay.
Overall, staying at this hotel was a terrible experience. Everything from customer service to cleanliness was extremely poor. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone and think that anyone considering staying here should think twice. I am travelling all aroud the world and I never see something like this before!
Remember, as travelers, we should be very careful about the quality of the places we stay in. Do not choose this hotel under any...

The only good thing about this place is the view from the roof at sunset. If you want to enjoy a drink while watching it, you’ll need to bring your own—because the rooftop bar is never open.
The hotel is generally in a very poor condition. One of the lifts was out of order and the other seemed like it was on its last legs. Across the four rooms we booked, all had broken furniture. In one room, I counted 15 separate pieces of damage, including a shower door hanging off its hinges. One room had an AC unit that blew loudly all night despite being “fixed” by reception (it wasn’t), and another had a different AC fault that started at 3am. Despite clear signs the hotel wasn’t near capacity, we were told no other rooms were available. Another room had a bug issue.
The facilities are a joke. The pool is dirty and supposedly closes at 7pm, but no one enforces that. Expect loud, drunk guests messing around in it until 3am if your room is nearby. According to the notice board, the chlorine levels hadn’t been checked in over a week. The bar by the pool hasn’t appeared in use for years. The gym is just a landing with a few 25-year-old dumbbells and broken treadmills.
Water isn’t freely available—you can either buy some at reception for four times the price of 7/11 or drink from a plastic tank outside your room that sits in 35-degree heat all day and tastes like it. Shower gel? You get two sachets. Want more? Reception will chuck some at you and glare like you’ve shot their dog.
The location is also poorly communicated. It’s at the top of a steep hill, and if you have any mobility issues, you’ll need a taxi to go anywhere. It’s about a 25-minute walk from the centre of Patong Beach—not something the hotel warns you about in advance.
The service is dreadful. When you check in, expect to wait 20 minutes while staff argue with each other and guests. Otherwise, they’ll be glued to their phones and communicate mostly in gestures. You’ll also be hit with a 1000 baht per person cash security deposit. They can’t even put a hold on your credit card, which says a lot. Staff are generally unfriendly and unhelpful, and none of them are Thai—so if you’re expecting the warmth and hospitality Thailand is famous for, you won’t find it here.
The manager is extremely rude and unpleasant. I paid to have my laundry done and got it back missing underwear, with someone else’s clothes mixed in. No apology, no attempt to fix it.
In short: don’t stay here. If you’re trying to save money by choosing a cheaper hotel, you’ll end up spending more and ruining part of your trip. We had a great time in Phuket overall, but it would have been so much better if we hadn’t cheaped out on accommodation.
My advice to the owners? Shut it down and let someone who actually cares about people and service take over. With proper investment and a decent management team, this place could be okay. But right now,...
