The Baycliff Residence — Attraction in Patong

I was supposed to stay at the baycliff residences but due to the room not being available I was shifted to the privilege which is connected to the baycliff residence.

I am writing this review because both the buildings are fairly new and have the same layout also owned by one person. And I was extensively using baycliff facilities during my stay.

The room was spacious and well equipped, modern interiors, 2 large televisions, fully operable kitchen, jaccuzi in the bathroom and balcony. Mountain view.

There is a decent gym at the ground floor and 24 hours pool access. Since we wanted to ensure we walk daily this hotels location was ideal as it is about 2-3 km from Patong beach.

The privilege and baycliffe residences are owned by the same person so one can use all the facilities of both the buildings.

I read some reviews stating that reception was closed at midnight. It is untrue the reception was open 24 hours during my stay.

This is a condominium and not a hotel, it is part owned by resident/owners and part is managed for a short term stay by unprofessional staff in the office building of The Privilege and Baycliff residence for a short term stays. When you walk in to check in they looked like they have seen a ghost and english level is very poor so it is hard to understand. Also during a month stay, we had a 4-5 daily power cuts, meaning no power, no water, no lights, no aircon. Very difficult to enjoy holiday ! Staff offered to change a room for additional 3,000 TBH per night. What a scam ! Do not book a stay here. Try "The Deck Condominium" Patong Beach instead, it has better location and can walk...

Chambres très spacieuses (suite pour famille de 4 personnes). Pas très bien entretenu. Très calme. Vraiment pas très loin de Pathong. Personnel pas sympathique. J'ai loué un scooter à l'hôtel et ils ont essayé de m'arnaquer en me collant une rayure sur le dos. Piscine grande. La petite boutique à l'accueil propose des excursions. Bien pour Kaolack. Mais ne surtout pas faire kho Phi Phi. Nous sommes tombés sur des pirates naviguant à très grande vitesse qui survolent tout le programme et irrespectueux de l'environnement (jets de déchets dans la mer). Nous avons quand-même passé un séjour magnifique là bas. Je conseille le taxi en bas de la route côté plage. Il nous a emmené aux 4 coins de l'île pas cher. Très pro. De très bons conseils. N'hésitez pas à lui demander les bonnes adresses. Le prix pour l'hôtel est très correct. Au niveau sécurité. Je trouve que la piscine et les accès passerelle sont très limites. La salle de sport et le sauna ne servent à rien car pas fonctionnels. Si vous faites la grasse matinée, vous serez réveillé entre 9h et 10h pour le ménage. Bon...
