Baby Dancing Elephant…
We reached this place around 11 pm with a city tour package and our guide directed us to go to trekking with elephants. We were around eight people and it was a good experience with elephant. They have many elephants and they said they are treating very well. When I checked this google reviews I have found many degrading review of this place but personally, I didn’t find any abuse. They have huge area to walk around and they have enough to eat. This place have small restaurant and cool bar. We have tried Cold tender coconut water it was great. After trekking, there is a monkey show ,it was a great experience. There are two monkeys and they have trained very well. They acted unique tricks. After that we went to see baby elephant show – This is the best part of this tour our group having small kids they have enjoyed so much. They have feed these elephants. We feed this elephant with banana and it was great. I think we were spend nearly one hour and it was a unique experience for our life time. The abusing controversy is not required since this place is licensed to do...
Read morePoor service to the extent of being cheats. Don’t waste your money here. They charged me 2000 bahts. Before paying, I asked if I could click pictures with my phone; they said I could give the phone to the person inside for clicking.
When I entered, the person inside said I can’t click pics because there is a fine of 1000 bahts if I do so. So, I followed the rules and didn’t click any pics.
When I came out and raised the concern, the person at the counter admitted there was some misunderstanding from the staff inside. I requested for 1 pic but that was turned down despite them saying it was their mistake. They asked for 300 bahts more for a pic they clicked.
The elephants weren’t kept in good condition. The elephant we went on seemed tired and it wouldn’t move. I noticed that the guy who was handling the elephant was poking the elephant with a sharp sickle that he was hiding in his front. One of the several chained elephants was desperately trying to get rid of the chains. There was a big elephant in the name of baby elephant. Poor show amd complete waste of...
Read moreDo not visit!!! Worst experience .. Saw an elephant so went to see. The poor elephant was chained . The staff quickly came and started explaining how we can get up close to them with different options. Apart from animal abuse, they charge huge amount for absolutely nothing. Rude staff and they fool you before you buy tickets by saying pictures are allowed but then once u enter they ask you to keep your phone inside and if u break the rule, a fine of 1000 baht. Did not even let us click pictures after paying 2000 bht for the entry. Once we came out , asked us to buy the pictures they clicked for another 390 bht. Very poorly maintained . Stinky place and elephant poop everywhere. I pity those elephants whom they were hitting and poking with sharp knife kind of thing attached on a ling stick. Very Sad! In the name of baby elephant show, there is a fully grown elephant. They charge money for everything. I will not be surprised if they ask money for even looking at the people around. BAD EXPERIENCE over all and will not...
