A large, beautiful temple, located in a very picturesque place. Khao Rang Samakkitham is one of the most beautiful temples in Phuket. A large, multi-level temple, which can be explored from the left or right side, they are connected - a visitor can enter from one side, go through all the rooms and exit from the other.
There are many beautiful statues here, one of them is a huge statue of Buddha - perhaps the largest on the island - it is installed on the roof, on a white pedestal and looks mesmerizing, shimmering gold in the rays of the sun, watching the movement of the laity. Nearby there is a high bell tower that is open to access. There, on the roof, is a very beautiful vihara. Inside, it is completely decorated with amazing, heavenly-golden frescoes from the life and path of enlightenment of Buddha. On one of the walls, among the frescoes, you can see the entire Chakri dynasty, which has invariably ruled Thailand.

Like all temples here , you must take off your shoes to go up the separate steps to the Buddha and the tiles were quite hot so you have to hop around from shade to shade. Don't miss the hidden gem beneath the Buddha! Peek through the small doors into a beautiful and peaceful worship room.
As a solo traveler, I found the Grab app incredibly convenient (similar to Uber). It allows you to easily hail cabs or motorbikes with drivers who provide helmets for your safety. A typical 20-minute ride costs around 130 baht (under £3), making it a budget-friendly way to avoid long walks in the heat. Cabs are also a safe and affordable option on the app. Maximize your day by exploring Phuket without the...
