Thirisulam Hill — Attraction in Tamil Nadu

A great place to go for a road trip, start from your place, reach the Tirusulam hills, the way is filled with some air pin bends, some breadth taking views of Flights taking off and landing at Chennai Airport and Suburban trains from the top of the hill, on the way, one side of the hill, there is a "Murugan Temple" - a temple to the Hindu God, Muruga. On another side of the hill is a Church. and top of the hill, there is a mosque. It is thrill filled ride and a great view from the top. On the other end of the hill, you can go the Stone mining areas, where there is a pond. There are many small lakes with large amounts of water.

I think there is some confusion regarding this site among the people who have posted reviews and photos and questions. As I see the marker location, the site belongs to Tower Testing Laboratory of CSIR. It is a totally restricted area and the only approach is through the gate near Thirusulam level crossing. All the photos posted here indicate that they are shot from the other nearby hill, which is known as Pallavaram Forest in Google Maps. You can clearly see this hill from airport road while heading from dlf side.The hill entrance is confusing start with small cement road.In just 2 to 3 km stretch u LL reach the top of hill.you can see a beautiful view of airport if in case you trespass unrestricted area.i don't recommend if u want stay long over there.and you will get to see ethusiastic cyclist offenly.bottom of the hill,rock mining LL be carried so it LL be dusty area at bottom.se quarry are...
