A Convenient and Tasty Pitstop: Aero hub Airport Food Court Review
Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5)
As a frequent traveler, I recently had the chance to explore the food court at my local airport during a layover, and I must say it exceeded my expectations.
Convenience is a significant factor for any airport food court, and this one hit the mark. Located centrally in the terminal, it was easily accessible from my gate, making it a convenient pitstop to grab a meal before my next flight. The open layout and ample seating options allowed me to find a spot without any hassle, even during peak travel hours.
The variety of food choices impressed me. From fast-food favorites to sit-down restaurants, there was something to cater to every traveler's palate. I opted for a quick and satisfying meal at one of the fast-food outlets. The quality of the food was surprisingly good, considering the fast-paced nature of airport dining.
Despite the bustling atmosphere, the service at the food court was commendable. The staff remained friendly and efficient, ensuring orders were taken promptly and served with minimal waiting time. This was a pleasant surprise, as airport dining can sometimes be rushed and impersonal.
While the prices were understandably higher than outside the airport, they were not exorbitant. Considering the convenience and the captive audience, I found the cost to be reasonable for the quality and portion sizes.
One thing to note is that the food court lacked a bit in terms of ambiance. The noise level was understandably high due to the constant flow of travelers, and the seating area, although comfortable, didn't offer any exceptional views or décor to make it a standout dining experience.
Despite this minor drawback, the airport food court made up for it in terms of efficiency and selection. It served its purpose well – providing hungry travelers with a quick and satisfying meal during their layovers. The clean and well-maintained facilities were a definite plus.
Overall, I was pleased with my experience at the airport food court. It offered a variety of food options, excellent service, and the much-needed convenience for travelers on the go. If the ambiance were slightly improved, it would undoubtedly earn a perfect five stars. Nevertheless, I would happily recommend this food court to any fellow travelers passing through...
Read moreStarted to get crowded and nothing much for entertainment. Like other malls, they have usual food stalls in the food court. The shops available in food court are not updated in google yet. If you are interested in exploring different kinds of food, then it will be fun here. I ate in WANG'S KITCHEN AND STREET OF ARABIA. For ice cream I wished there were some other shops. As usual they had SQUEEZE juice bar and DESSERT WORKS( which I don't recommend).
WANG'S kitchen I ordered Kungpao combo for which I asked whether it will be spicy. The person in charge told me it won't be spicy at all. But it ended up being very spicy. I can't blame the guy because he was busy explaining about the water bottles to another person 😏. The food even though it was spicy, it tastes good. It was a bit pricey too.
STREET OF ARABIA I ordered Shawarma plate. The chicken was juicy with kubos and French fries. It was normal and usual like any other shawarma plate we eat in outside restaurants. Food here are a bit pricey.
SQUEEZE JUICE BAR I ordered Choco blast and mango milkshake. I don't know who came up with the name choco blast for the ice cream I ordered. The wafer cup was too hard with a scoop of chocolate and vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce and choco chips on top. It was a very normal ice cream for which the person in charge took 20 minutes to prepare and not worth 179rs. Mango milkshake🥤 which was normal.
Bao bao Loved eating here. Chicken dynamite Excellent juicy bao. The outer layer is boiled and soft. The chicken stuffing was medium spicy crunchy.
Phuket fish bao Spicy and juicy. Must try. Loved it...
Read moreI visited Aero Hub Mall for the first time to watch a movie, and the parking system was very confusing. The mall has two blocks - Aero Hub West (Airport Parking + Food Court) and Aero Hub East (Mall Parking + Cinema). Unfortunately, the signboards are not clear and even security staff gave wrong directions. I first parked in the wrong block (West - Airport Parking), and later had to move my car, pay extra, and ended up missing 30 minutes of my movie.
Here’s what first-time visitors should know:
Aero Hub West (Airport Parking + Food Court): Charges are higher, payment is only through FASTag/Cash. Even though there is a food court here, this is not mall parking and you will not get discounts.
Aero Hub East (Mall Parking + Cinema): You need to collect a parking receipt at the entrance. While leaving, you must show this receipt to pay charges. FASTag is not accepted here.
If you’re watching a movie: At the theatre entrance, you need to show your mall parking receipt and movie ticket. They will give you another receipt. While paying, you must hand over both the mall parking receipt and the movie receipt to get a 50% discount.
Overall, the parking rules are complicated and not explained properly. Management should put up clear signboards between West and East blocks and ensure security staff guide visitors correctly. Until then, please double-check before parking to avoid losing money, time, and missing your...
