Chai Kings - Airport Metro — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I visited your outlet recently and had an important meeting to attend, so I was seated for a few minutes before placing my order. It wasn’t that I wasn’t going to buy anything I absolutely intended to, once I got free from my work. However, I was disappointed when the staff insisted that I must immediately purchase something in order to continue sitting, despite the place not being crowded and there being no shortage of tables for other customers.

I would have completely understood if I was occupying space during a rush or preventing paying customers from being seated, but that was not the case here. As a professional, I value both my time and the businesses I support, and I did not wish to disturb your operations or affect your profits. Unfortunately, the experience left me feeling unwelcome.

In the middle of my work, I had to place an order earlier than I wished just to avoid any inconvenience. There are many other cafés and tea outlets where customers feel more comfortable and respected while balancing work and leisure, and I regret to say this experience ensures I will not be returning to Chai Kings. Lot of flies inside the cofee house. Place is not clean. Also the display of biscuits are kept in a haphazard way,meaning products in the tray are kept upside-down. Display of products like biscuits should be neat and attractive. It should catch the attention of the customer. I think the owners should make a surprise visit and check directly. Orders are not followed up,We ordered for Masala Chai,hot chocolate,and lemon tea,while we got first two items immediately lemon tea was served after 25 min after a follow up from our end, since the cashier was not present, the serving personal had asked us twice if we paid the money. It is surprising because the Chai house will print a bill ,one portion of the bill goes to the serving counter while the other part is given to the customer. Not a good taste when compared to other road side shops. We have ordered hibiscus tea and ginger tea without milk. It cost 30rs. It's high ,we can accept it as it's inside airport. Thy asked for adding honey but didn't mention the extra charges for it. Thy asked 15rs extra for each tea for a spoon of honey. If u people don't care for the taste and money u can visit der. Really the shop can improve the taste and reduce the extra charges of the tea if thy really care abt...
