Exceptional Vegetarian Dining Experience with Authentic South Indian Flavors
After dining at Geetham Veg Restaurant in Chennai, I can confidently say this establishment deserves recognition as one of the finest vegetarian hotels in the city. This recently rebranded restaurant has truly elevated the vegetarian dining experience with its impressive combination of excellent food quality, warm atmosphere, and prompt service.
Outstanding Food Selection The paneer fingers were absolutely delightful - crispy on the outside with tender, perfectly spiced paneer inside that melted in the mouth. Their mushroom dosa showcased the restaurant's expertise in South Indian cuisine, featuring a golden, crisp exterior with a flavorful mushroom filling that was both aromatic and satisfying.
The soup selection impressed with rich, comforting broths that served as perfect appetizers. Their mushroom soup, in particular, had a velvety texture with deep umami flavors that warmed the soul. The traditional vada were exceptional - fluffy, well-seasoned, and served piping hot with aromatic sambar and coconut chutney that complemented the crispy exterior perfectly.
Ambiance and Service The restaurant boasts a clean, welcoming ambiance that makes dining a pleasure. The staff members provide prompt, courteous service that enhances the overall experience. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between casual comfort and quality dining, making it suitable for both family meals and special occasions.
Diverse Menu Excellence Beyond the standout dishes mentioned, Geetham offers an impressive array of South Indian, North Indian, and Chinese vegetarian options. Their variety ranges from towering Ghee Roast Dosa to exotic Faloodas and Turkish delights. The restaurant's commitment to fresh ingredients and authentic preparation methods shines through in every dish.

Read moreWent here for dinner with my wife on our anniversary. It was an absolute terrible experience. I've a very polite request towards the restaurant management that if you have any sorts of incentives/perks for your captains on pitching any xyz dishes, please stop it immediately. Its ruining everything. Please please please do that. While ordering the food, I ordered some xyz dish in starter on which the captain who was noting the order suggested to try some other dish instead. I appreciated him suggesting and Very politely said, "No Thanks" and wished to stick to my first choice. He literally started a debate with me pushing me to order the one he suggested stating that it is their speciality. At this point it was getting very awkward for me. I was just not able to comprehend how can someone in hospitality industry behave like this. So to cut off the conversation, I decided to go with something else than what we were debating on. After a while, for the next order, I ordered another dish and he was up again with his suggestion, which I still appreciated but asked him to serve me the one I requested for. He was literally getting offended that I wasn't taking his suggestion and started convincing me as hard as he can. I had completely lost my patience and was thinking to report/confront but the only thing I had in my mind that it's my anniversary today and lets not spoil it. Finally without saying anything I agreed to eat what he was suggesting, very sadly. When I tried it, it was very ordinary, tasteless and not worth at all. The entire time I had no chance to order for myself and was forced to eat what was being forced on me. Very disappointing and pathetic experience it was. If at all the restaurant is open to feedback, please brief your guys well and educate them the difference between suggestions and forcefully convincing the customers. At least it help people to enjoy their time with their friends n family and not debating with...
