Lovely christmas atmosphere with kind and attentive staff members in the 2022 mid November month. ̣̥☆·͙̥❄‧̩̥࿌ིྀ྇˟͙☃️˟͙࿌ིྀ྇‧̩̥❄·͙̥̣☆̣̥̣̥ Today was my birthday so it was my first ever visit here. (I received coconut ice cream with a candle which I dearly appreciated) For my personal experience I had a virgin strawberry mango daiquiri and a black pepper crusted steak. The daiquiri was lovely and was a personal request to combine their 2 flavours- strawberry and mango. My only complaints would have to do with the steak, and Im not sure if these are just customs that are the usual to the restaurant or if these are genuine issues I faced. Now taste wise, my meal was fantastic! With delicious vegetable rice and a well seasoned steak. My issues were as follows: 1- I was not asked how I would like my steak cooked. While it was well done (which is better than rare to me in comparison) I would usually eat medium to medium well steak. (In the end it was still delicious however so I still recommend) 2- I was not given a steak knife. Honestly even a bread knife with a serrated edge would be better than the slightly serrated 𝘣𝘶𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘬𝘯𝘪𝘧𝘦 I was given to use 😆 though it did the job at the end of the day, I almost had to fight against my...

Food: 1/5 .The food was average to below average in terms of flavour. You could go out to a Chinese restaurant on the main road and find better food. I was very unimpressed by the dishes and the portion sizes. All the dishes (except 1) we tried were not at all worth the exorbitant prices.
Customer service: 1/5. Our servers didnt seem to take my party seriously, calling us the "kiddie table" even though we were very all clearly adults. Our servers weren't very friendly and seemed very impatient with us even though at the time the restaurant was very vacant and there obviously were not many other tables to wait on. The host who seated us was pleasant.
Wait time was fine.
Atmosphere:4/5. The restaursnt is advertised and decorated with a polynesian theme depsite serving chinese food. The general views and space was nicely decorated however.
Take away: not worth it. glorified chinese restaurant dressed in a polynesian style (very pretty though). Just buy food for your normal Chinese restaurant, save your money and get...
Read moreA beautiful restaurant. I appreciated the wooden and cooper elements in the decor. I don't know much about Polynesian culture (I need to read up on this) but I am certain that the menu Chinese. When I enquired about this the waitress firmly stated, "This is a Polynesian Restaurant!"🤷🏾♀️ The Chinese food was delicious and the portion sizes were good. I relished the crispy pan fried noodles with seafood and vegetables. The seafood was not used sparingly. The Virgin Pina Cola was a refreshingly creamy slurry with a vibrant coconut flavour accompanied by undertones of pineapple. I enjoyed it but little effort was put into presentation. It looked like a glass of cold milk. 3 stars because the meal was scrumptious and the portions good. The venue pleasant. I felt a bit let down though because I felt that i was fooled into having Chinese food when I actually...
