KAVA at Kapok Hotel — Restaurant in undefined

Orders: Lamb satay, Pizza: Meat lovers, Four cheese, Shrimp Wonton

SERVICE: Male server was what should restaurants have, Pleasant - prompt - sensitive; We also appreciate the Asian cook tried to smile from far away for greetings even though he looked very shy.

FOOD: Lamb satay - Appearance is Unusual it was prepared like a sausage and felt like a sausage. taste is good though. So we finished it in a few seconds.

Pizza texture is nice, not greasy, served HOT and fresh from oven one thing I want to note is both pizza's had a hint of the lamb , it's kind of annoying getting it on the four cheese. it's the reason i went for 4 instead of 5 stars

Wanton - filling is just enough, not too much, not too little. wrapper is the usual wonton wrapper found all over TT. I would prefer the thin wrappers from southeast asia.

Awful. Not my first time there but it will definitely be my last. Poor customer service caused me and my wife to wait over 40 minutes for our pizza to arrive at our table - 30 minutes after the other couple at our table received their meals. Good customer service would dictate that if there is going to be a foreseeable delay in a customer's order that you say something. I would have been quite prepared to order something else had I been made to understand that there was a gridlock of orders at the pizza oven. (Mind you, good sense would have also dictated that you make your dine-in customer orders your priority over take out orders.) Sadly, it was not until I complained that my order was made a priority. And sadder still that the proprietor (who knows me quite well as we were regular patrons) never once came over to the table to explain or apologize. I'm sorry. But as good as the food is, I wont be returning to Kava anytime...

Great staff, very patient, friendly and knowledgeable. Restaurant is more casual and not to formal. Dine in on the inside of the restaurant is a bit small and a bit congested but the ambiance dining on the outside was much better. Prices are relatively reasonable. There is a limited assortment of appetizers to choose from but has a large variety of brick oven baked pizza. There are also other menu item that a more familiar but was lacking salt (I dont know if this was international or an accident). I love the fact they boxed up your unfinished meal and not like most other restaurants that just gives you a box to do it yourself.
