Baltalimanı Japanese Garden — Attraction in Sarıyer

A small park managed by municipality. Pets are not allowed! The park was established with Japanese Shimonoseki city in Yamaguchi prefecture. You can find a touch of Japanese culture in İstanbul. The place is well kept and it's worth a visit especially during spring when we visited. A tiny little unattended garden with a typical Japanese house at it's centre. You cannot enter the house.

The place is peaceful and near the Bosphorus, which makes it an added benefit, since there wasn't much to see or spend time on within this garden.

After the short visit to the garden, we bumped into the neighbouring hospital like curious tourists accidentally, as we only saw the beautiful restaurant, that turned out to be the hospital canteen, with outdoor seating. What a beautiful experience that...
