VEZIR HAN EMIRGAN BOSPHORUS — Restaurant in Sarıyer

We came to the restaurant which was highly recommended! The place is nice and seems very professional. And here is the surprise; while to food took a while to bring, you think quality will be coming! The grilled meat platter was bad. The grilled meat was burned, dry, and seemed re-grilled several times!! The kabab was dry as well and lacked the flavor!! Such a disappointment. We complained and the waiter went and came back saying nothing is wrong with the meat. This is how the food should be! We are new to Turkish and middle eastern food!! Anyway he removed it from the meat dish from the check; but the experience was a let down. Shame with such a view of the Bosporus. After I made the review; we went on a stroll by the water. When we passed by the restaurant on the way back the manager stopped me contesting the review. He really verbally harassed me for making this review. He was rude, aggressive and demanded that I remove my review. I have never ever faced such treatment. He then insisted that I pay for the meal since I refused to remove the review which I paid. When I told him that this is absolutely horrible treatment of your customers after voicing their honest opinion and told him I will amend my review with his treatment; the manager went crazy and demanded to go together to the police station accusing me of “slanders”!!! What a show!! Extremely disappointed with such management behavior. There were several customers standing outside which were shocked with what they saw and how I was treated. We were invited to this place with beautiful view of the bosphurus. Everything else was bad. For almost an hour the water did not bring us even a glass of water or a pice of bread. The food was late,, portions served were less than the pictures, .. the waiter forgot to bring drinks, two of the orders. After we finished he remembered there was one more order., we asked to cancel it he said “ I can’t, if I do I’ll have to pay for the order out of pocket” . What a lie.. when he brought the last order he threw it in the table.. the food does not taste good.. I would recommend you buy street food and sit on one of the benches on the sides of the bosphurus it will be more enjoyable..one more. It seemed that a couple had engagement party going on. The music was so loud we could not have any conversation.. they should have reserved separate room/ floor..the waiters were busy watching the ceremony. We paid over 500...

Restaurant Review: Disappointing New Year’s Eve Experience

We visited this restaurant on New Year’s Eve, expecting a festive and enjoyable evening, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a major letdown.

The food was a set menu, which we were fine with, but every dish was tasteless and felt like it was pre-cooked well in advance. To make matters worse, everything was served cold, and the fish was raw despite our explicit request for it to be well-done.

The atmosphere was far from comfortable. It was extremely noisy, making conversation almost impossible. On top of that, the restaurant was freezing cold, with no heaters provided to combat the winter chill.

The only saving grace of the evening was our waiter, Zahir ,who was attentive and polite despite the less-than-ideal circumstances.
