Odesa Regional Philharmonic — Attraction in Odesa Urban Hromada

Beautiful old building, which used to be a stock exchange and then was converted into a theater. The acoustics are good, many people find their seat here. Tickets for the various concerts and events can be bought on site or online or in special stores in many shopping centers. Downstairs there is a small bar and before the concert or during the break, for example, to drink a glass of champagne or buy a bottle of water. The building is just amazing, both from the outside and from the inside. Sits are relatively comfortable but after about 1hr you start to feel it and want to stretch your legs. It can get hot inside (no AC) so bring something to cool yourself. The scene is relatively small, and the artists from the orchestra have face one another rather than the audience. Wonderful acoustic and historical theater it is a masterpiece. It worth to pay trip to Odessa! The decorations are great, the repertory is on average interesting and well organized. The musician are really top. I strongly suggest to pay a visit even because the city (downtown) is so charming. Check the website for booking and programs.
