GAME OVER Escape Rooms — Attraction in Abu Dhabi

Matt was our game master as we checked into the Nightmare Hotel. We survived with 7 minutes to spare. Great puzzles and just the right amount of scares to try to throw you off your game. They are very generous with their “help” option as you have unlimited calls if you get stuck but if you are great at solving mind puzzles and thinking outside the box you won’t need it. Definitely worth a go but this is their hardest one, have a combination of thinkers with you. It is a bit expensive so I couldn’t do this often. If they had a membership where you could get discounts for multiple rooms I would definitely try them all. For now “Nightmare Hotel” doesn’t have a super strong story and the voices aren’t always clear. The actors costumes didn’t match the theme but if you can handle light ghost stories with a couple Jump scares it’s a good time with friends if you’ve never tried an escape room before. For the hardcore escape room go-er this room is decent. The space is small so with a big group it’s hard for everyone to be involved. Matt was fantastic for a game master so that was a bonus.

Pros: Good for first timers to get into escape rooms. Nice level of puzzles. Good game master.

From Ayeka: Had gone to this place yesterday with my friends, and we booked for the horror nightmare hotel escape room - and were given such a wonderful experience!! The puzzles were interesting, the room aesthetics were wonderfully eerie.. The props and furniture looks were really spooky and extremely detailed, while the overall escape room plot was unique and creative! The mechanics and anamatronics did give us a good scare, as well as the spook actor that sure gave us a fun time! We successfully finished with flying colours!!! Under 50 minutes..

Everything about this was delightful! My favorite part was the shapeshifting room since that was so shocking! The game masters kuya Matt and kuya Tim were very cooperative, nice, fun to interact and patient with - which made it all the more enjoyable!! Additionally, once you finish the escape room - you are allowed to play the board games there for free!! I 100% reccomend this place! The price it totally worth it! We had an absolutely incredible time at this escape room! From the moment we walked in, the staff were welcoming, enthusiastic, and really set the mood for the adventure ahead.

The room design was next level — the attention to detail, the atmosphere, and the storyline all made it feel completely immersive. Every puzzle was smartly crafted, challenging but fair, and required real teamwork. We loved how each clue connected to the story, keeping us engaged from start to finish.

What really stood out was the quality of the props and the seamless tech integration — it felt like being part of a movie or a live video game. We managed to escape with just minutes to spare, and the sense of accomplishment was awesome!
