Xtreme Zone Galleria Al Maryah Island — Attraction in Abu Dhabi

I will preface this review by saying I came here to Bowl, as an amateur bowler, I expect oiled lanes, mediocre Balls, And good shoes.

However, My expectations to pay 27 Dhs and the reality I saw left a pretty bad taste in my mouth. For example, The lanes have been oiled, but by the looks of it, it’s been oiled a few days or a week ago. As many bowlers know, you need oil to hook at the last few feet of the lane , as I said before , the lack of Oil forced me to bowl in an uncomfortable way to say the least.

Secondly, I took around 5-7 minutes searching for a ball that had little to no scratches, and found only 1-3 balls like that.

Finally, coming back to the Oil part, I requested the receptionist if it were possible to oil the lane as I was not satisfied at all. He kindly refused to do so.

Overall, if you are a bowler that does not curve or underhand bowl, This location will be fine, However for people like me who like to Hook into a strike, You will find this alley quite difficult and in all honesty, quite infuriating.

I would’ve rated this a 1 star if I could, However the customer service is excellent and the lady and receptionist were very kind to me.

I'm disappointed with the way Xtreme Zone handles potential customers. While some employees exhibit professionalism, our recent experience highlighted a glaring lack of competence among others. During our visit for bowling, we were rudely dismissed when inquiring about the possibility of bowling for a full hour instead of just one round per person. Despite our genuine interest, we were shut down without further explanation.

However, upon returning close to an hour later, we encountered a new employee who effectively and respectfully clarified the situation, providing valuable insight into why only one round per person was permitted. I commend this employee for their competence and courteous demeanor, which stood in stark contrast to our earlier encounter.

Nevertheless, I urge prospective customers to be cautious about potential lapses in customer satisfaction at Xtreme Zone. It would benefit the establishment to invest in comprehensive employee training, particularly regarding customer service, to ensure consistently positive...
