It was a really fun experience for me to go to this kind of market, wherein everybody was busy YET the cleanliness of the surroundings are maintained, with the fact that what they are dealing are fishes and other food from under the sea. It is very cool that everybody (the salesmen) were smiling and calm even though all of us were busy. The salemen were open to suggest what and how to cook the fishes you bought. Aside from this, their setup of ordering and paying first before getting the items ran smoothly. On the other side of the fish area, there you can find fruits and vegetablesThe old fish market was replaced a few years back with the new and much improved Souk Al Jubail. Whether you are food shopping or not, this is an interesting place to visit, especially on a Friday morning. The meat and fish market is on the right side of this air conditioned building, and the fruit and veg market is on the left. There are two huge closed-off, fish-cleaning rooms and it is amazing to see the many staff hard at work!

In the fruit & veg market, there is a section dedicated to dates, as well as stands selling imported specialties, such as one with gourmet olive oils and spreads, and some selling African foods. There is also a small coffee stand and a fresh juice stand.Amazing market as one would have never imaged such place using new technologies is possible( Now it is).Its has Fish, Meat (including Poultry products too) & Vegetable market, all in segregated(Different sections),The best part no foul smell of meat/fish. Must visit place even though you are not...

Souq Al Jubail in Sharjah is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to experience a traditional yet modern market. Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll find and what to expect:

What’s Great: • Wide Variety: The market offers a huge selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, seafood, and even high-quality dates. It’s a one-stop shop for all your grocery needs. • Modern Amenities: The upstairs seating area provides a clean and comfortable space to relax or grab a bite after shopping. • Accessibility: The parking is spacious and includes designated areas for people with disabilities, making it very convenient for all visitors.

What to Watch Out For: • High Prices: While the quality of the products is undeniable, the prices are on the higher side. For budget-conscious shoppers, this may not be the best option. • Not Ideal for Budget Shopping: If you’re looking for affordable options, this market might not meet your expectations. There are better alternatives for those trying to save money.

Recommendation: • ✅ Worth Visiting: If you’re a tourist or want to experience a premium marketplace with excellent facilities and fresh produce. • ❌ Not Recommended: For those on a tight budget or looking for competitive pricing.

In summary, Souq Al Jubail offers a premium shopping experience with a rich variety of fresh products and modern conveniences. While it may not be the cheapest option, it’s an interesting place to visit, especially for travelers wanting to explore local markets in a clean and...

Souq Al Jubail is one of the biggest and most organized fish markets in Sharjah, and it’s definitely worth a visit if you love fresh seafood. The market has a wide variety of fish and seafood available at reasonable prices, and the freshness really stands out compared to regular supermarkets. One of the best things is that they provide cutting and cleaning services at a very low rate, which makes it super convenient. There’s also an option to get your fish grilled on the spot, which is a great idea if you want to enjoy it fresh. However, one thing to keep in mind: the grilling counter closes at 9:30 PM, even though the market itself stays open until 10:30 PM. If you’re planning to have your fish grilled there, make sure you finish your shopping and billing before 9:30 PM. We reached exactly at 9:30, but unfortunately, they refused the service as the system doesn’t allow billing after that time. Overall, Souq Al Jubail is a fantastic place for fresh seafood at good prices, but do plan your visit a bit earlier if you want to make the most of the grilling service.

Spread over three floors, the souq is known for its exceptional cleanliness, well-organized sections, and friendly vendors. The seafood section is particularly notable, featuring a wide variety of fresh fish with cleaning and grilling services available on-site. The market also includes a fruit and vegetable section, offering seasonal produce at reasonable prices. It’s a family-friendly destination with ample parking and even car-cleaning services while you shop. Visitors often praise its traditional architectural design combined with modern amenities, making it an engaging place for both locals and tourists.
