Amidst the never-ending puzzle of zigzagging roads and towering skyscrapers, you can find some beautiful (and mostly huge) public parks, constructed by Dubai Parks Authorities. A big thumbs up to the Government for first conceptualizing and developing these parks and then maintaining them in these harsh climates in an immaculate manner. Now here are my 5-Pointers on some of the best Dubai parks. Dubai might not have a Central Park like New York, but there are many alternatives in different areas for some fun-filled picnics. (These parks might not be big enough attractions for tourists, but they are sure shot life savers for the residents)

The Good: Good Size, (Good enough for a 20-minute walk around the pond). Well-built walking and cycling area. Very well Maintained. There is a Children's play area, an Open Gym, and volleyball courts (available for booking) The Not-so-Good: Maybe the pond needs a little maintenance and more water The WoW Factor: It is located in an area that is full of families with young kids due to lots of schools around this place. This beautiful pond and the park around it serve as lifesavers for these families. Kids can play, and adults can have a walk, run or just sit on the green grass and relax. Money Matters: Entrance is free. You can have BR shakes or have some snacks in the cafeteria near the gate, or order food from an app and have a proper picnic on the grass banks. A quiet and Family Friendly park with good grass lawns to sit and relax. Playground, jogging track, cycling track, buggies, gym, basketball/football area, small shop setups like nail art, fruit chat, juices, clothes, toys, ice-creams, sandwiches, pizzas and many more. Ample benches, shaded table and chairs so you can picnic comfortably, mosque is just outside the park if u want to pray, bus stop is also very nearby. Cafes, supermarkets and restaurants are also within a walkable distance. Toilets and drinking water facilities too are available inside the park.

Best place in the neighborhood for family outing and fitness. People love to do parties here. Lovely evenings during winter. Park has something for every age group. Some sale events happen. Eateries are very minimum. Excellent football basketball tennis courts.

There is a Cycling track - Running track of 1.2 Km and a Children's play area with a lot of play equipment’s. Outdoor Gym with multiple exercise machines is Clean and neatly maintained. If you are a bachelor, you can only get inside if you wear the shoes. But family people can come with slippers. Air is very clean and cold. The park is a great source of rejuvenating the body and mind. Some of the exercise machines are good. Some useful ones also could have been added.
