Yesterday night (19/09/2025), I ordered a Zinger Burger from Kerala Castle. To my surprise, what I got was just a bun with a few crumbs of chicken inside nothing close to a real zinger. The chicken was so thin and dry that it was even difficult to swallow.
When I asked the staff, “Where is the zinger inside the burger?”, all I got was a fake smile and the reply “Zinger is like that.” Later, when I mentioned how hard it was to eat, the staff said “I will talk to the chef” but never came back.
👉 Maybe other dishes in the restaurant are good, but the first-time experience always decides whether a customer will return or not. And with this experience, it’s definitely a big NO.
❌ I do not recommend the Zinger Burger to anyone. It’s not up to the mark, the quality is poor, and you can’t even waste the food you’re forced to eat it just because you’ve paid for it. Honestly, for a 12 AED burger, shouting or calling again didn’t even feel worth it, so I just finished quietly and left the restaurant.
⚡ Think about it: after a whole tiring day, a person goes out to eat something of their choice and is ready to pay for it. But if in return they get almost nothing, how would that feel? On top of that, your mood gets spoiled too.
👉 My suggestion to the restaurant: if you cannot make a dish properly, remove it from the menu. And please, train your chef to prepare items the way they are supposed to be.

Read moreLet's give review about this restaurant today. Let me start with the name of this restaurant: Kerala Castle and it is located on the side of Nesto Supermarket, Al Nahda based in Dubai. To come to this restaurant, you will get paid parking outside but if you do not want to do paid parking, you will get free parking for your vehicle at Nesto supermarket and then you can go easily which is four steps away.
Talking about the food in the restaurant, we ordered Mota Set, the famous food of Kerala, which cost 12 aed per person. I bought two Mota Sets. which I liked very much, One thing I don't understand is why mostly in all Malwari restaurants you serve Chaach or Kheer with fish.
(Do you also know that eating fish and milk together causes skin diseases? So why are you people serving KHEER and CHAACH. People should either look at the taste or look at the disease. But don't keep milk items with Mota Set, think about the customers. Instead keep something else in the sweets.
If we talk about the service of the restaurant, it was very good.
The seating area in the restaurant is well designed, there is a separate sitting area for families and the atmosphere of the restaurant is good.
I hope that there will be some change in this restaurant next time. Thanks for the good food. This was our review, rest of you go and taste the...
Read moreKerala Castle is a decent restaurant serving traditional Kerala Cuisine, in addition to a brief spread of North Indian and Chinese Dishes.
The management has done well in compiling an interesting menu with dishes sourced across the length of Kerala - covering well known dishes from Malabar, Travancore, Centre and more.
Beef Kizhi was the personal favourite of the lot, served in a unique style. Underneath the wrap is a well cooked and moderately spicy beef curry spread over three layers of freshly beaten Porotta.
Kothu Porotta was good, but a tad bit dry.
Puttu Biriyani was delicious, and very spicy, which is best had with curd and pickle. The Chicken Puttu Biriyani was better than Beef, though the latter wasn’t nothing bad, but I preferred the taste of the deep oil fried chicken over the beef.
Portions are huge, and you would want to keep that in mind. It is easy to over order here.
The Tea (ask the waiter to prepare it in the traditional Kerala way) was very strong and you would easily want more.
The dishes are priced at par with the norms, and the entire dining experience is good on the overall. The staff are well mannered.
I’d recommend this place for the Kizhi and the Chicken Puttu...
