I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ahl Al Mandi restaurant in Al Nahda 2, Dubai, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The star of the show was undoubtedly their Chicken Madhbi, which is an absolute must-try.

The moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted by the friendly and attentive waiter, Ali, who provided exceptional service throughout my meal. He was knowledgeable about the menu, made helpful recommendations, and ensured that my dining experience was nothing short of wonderful.

As for the Chicken Madhbi, it was simply divine. The succulent, flavorful chicken was cooked to perfection, and the spices used in the dish created a harmonious blend that tantalized my taste buds. The portion size was generous, and the presentation was impeccable, making it a truly delightful dish.

I was thoroughly impressed by the overall ambiance of the restaurant, which created a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing dinner with family or friends. The cleanliness of the establishment and the attentiveness of the staff further added to the positive dining experience.

A rather disappointing Mandi experience, unfortunately.

We visited with high hopes, but several items on the menu - including the ones we came

specifically for - were unavailable. The waiter suggested an alternative, which sadly didn't live up to the description.

The soup was average, and the main dish lacked the rich flavor we expect from traditional Mandi. The meat was served separately in foil and felt overcooked, with very mild seasoning.

Service was a bit slow, and complimentary items like luqaimat or sulaimani tea (usually standard at most Mandi places) were only available at an extra charge. The payment process also lacked clarity - we were initially asked to pay in cash with no notice in advance, and only after some back and forth was the card accepted.

Overall, it didn't meet the expectations for a proper Mandi outing. Hopefully just an off day.

I have visited this restaurant many times and always had a great experience, especially with the service provided by Mr. Sadan. He is very polite, professional, and welcoming. His attitude and behavior are the main reasons I kept coming back.

However, during my recent visit, I was disappointed with the service. I was served by Mr. Fawad, whose behavior was rude and unprofessional. His way of speaking was not respectful, and he refused to provide the card machine at the table. It felt like he was acting as if he owned the place.
