Mᗩᔕᗩᒪᗩ WOK As the name itself suggests it’s an Indian- Chinese fusion restaurant. Located in Al Nahda Dubai. It’s no wonder that many hidden gems go unnoticed by us. I had been to this restaurant to enjoy an exquisite dining experience in a vibrant atmosphere featuring elegant interiors. You won’t believe me if I say that every little detail of this restaurant is carefully curated by the very talented & dedicated owner Mr.Shareef himself !! From the colorful furnitures to artistic wall frames, to dishes & cutlery brilliantly selected.Well, let’s talk about the food & service now. The restaurant that’s become well-known for serving authentic north Indian-Chinese food in the city have more than 250+items on its menu. Initially you get confused on what to order. But the staff makes your job easy by suggesting the best dishes according to your preferences. Every dish I tried was excellent & unique on its own way. The freshness of ingredients is evident in every bite. They welcome their customers by serving colorful fryums & cocom juice. A true delight to eyes & palate. We ordered Aaam panna & watermelon juice to get started with. The former is just like the one you get in the Indian streets ,authentic & so refreshing. Followed by the soup, lemon coriander soup is the one I liked the most. Next up is Chefs special kebab , the presentation is the wow factor here. Three different flavors of chicken marinated & grilled to perfection . Skewered & kept hanging on a metal stand. All the three flavors are equally 😋. Followed by Masala wok special kebab. This their signature kebab. Here the chicken breast is stuffed with cheese & minced chicken , wrapped together & grilled. Again served in a very elegant way. This dish is bursting with flavours & deliciousness. We also had Prawns KOLIWADA , DYNAMITE SHRIMP,ASSORTED BREAD,FISH MANCHURIAN,BURNT GARLIC RICE, BHUNA GOSHT,DESI KUKKAD. Well the DESI KUKKAD is highly recommended, here the fresh baby chicken is been cooked in a tomato based gravy. This dish is the star of the day. Again the presentation is exceptionally brilliant!!Ended our meal on a sweet note as usual. Had a sizzling brownie to fix the sweet cravings. And also had their special tea served in a clay mug. It was not less than a feast for us . From Aam Panna to the amazing dynamite shrimp to juicy chefs special kebabs to decadent sizzling brownie. Everything thing was incredible!! Excellent service. The staffs are friendly & highly attentive. Overall we had a truly exceptional...

They served a welcome drink made with cocum and fried crisps which I call Fryums . The drink was a perfect blend of sweet and tangy and the fryums were crisp and fresh.
Chicken Manchow Soup – This is my favorite soup in chinese cuisine as it has the spicy sauces and has crispy noodles to add the crunch. Chicken Sweetcorn Soup – I really liked this soup because it had the right corn flour to seasoning balance. Chicken Lollipop – Crispy Fried Drumsticks are my childhood favorite dish. The drumsticks were fried to perfection and the batter layer wasn’t too thick which I really like. Kebab Platter – The mixed grill had 4 kinds of kebabs served on hanging skewers with some salad. All of them were very well marinated and very juicy. Stuffed Chicken Kebab – This was served on the skewers and had chicken kebabs stuffed with cheese and minced meat. I loved the concept but the kebab was too heavy for palette. Chilli Paneer Dry – Chilli chicken and paneer are favorites for desis. This chilli paneer was batter fried and sautéed with onions, capsicums and spring onions. Dragon Chicken – This was their version of chilli chicken with less chilli and cashewnuts. Scotch Eggs with Chicken Gravy – Scotch eggs are basically boiled egg with a coating of potatoesand/or minced meat and then batter fried. This version was served with Asian style sauce over it. Dynamite Shrimp – This dish has become very popular here and a lot of restaurants serve their version of it. I personally did not savor this version much. Lovely Corn – This dish is served with a plate full of batter fried corn kernels with some spring onions and some seasoning on top. I loved this dish because the corn was crispy and the seasoning was not too over powering. Desi Kukkad – For the mains I had this gravy with some mince in it and well cooked local chicken. I loved the consistency of the gravy but I found the dish a little high on salt.
The service was on point with Bhuvan taking care of us by serving us everything on time, recommending dishes. Even the owner was there to come and talk to us and talk us through the journey of the restaurant.

We decided to head for dinner after hearing a lot of good things about the place. Thank you for the recommendation Divya.
Being located in the heart of Al Nahda, its chic and elegant decor adds to the ambiance. The comfy couches are perfect for large groups of friends and families. With the wide glass, its perfect during lunch when you have the best light making “Insta-worthy”.
Everyone is offered complimentary kokum drinks and fryums which make the wait a bit easier.
Drinks: We had the lemon mint and watermelon mojito which are water based and fresh. Our favorite would be the lemon mint since it had the perfect balance while the watermelon tasted a bit sour.
Soup: The Manchow soup is one of their best-sellers and we definitely agree with it. It went perfectly with the weather as a warm cup of hug!
Dragon Chicken: This dish is finger licking good. We were expecting it to be a bit more spicy but it will suit perfectly for those who can handle mild spice. It was so good we managed to finish this way too soon and would have loved another serving of it.
Honey Chili Potato: Who can resist this combination of potatoes? Surely not us so we definitely had to try them and oh boy were they good. We could have doubled our serving with no guilt but alas since we had a wide spread to try from we stuck with one portion.
Chefs Special Kebab: Based on our servers recommendation we have decided to try it and we were definitely pleased with the result. Four skewers of juicy chunks of chicken along with the mint dip makes for a delicious starter. We went back to try them again with our family and were not disappointed. It is one of their hot cakes that you will find at each and every table at the restaurant.
Desi Kukkad: A gravy with made with baby chicken which is the secret to such tender and succulent meat. It went along well with the garlic naan. A highlight for chicken lovers.
Sizzling Brownie: The new trend for desserts. It was a perfect ending to our hearty meal.
The servers were friendly and did a great job of hosting us.
The prices are reasonable for the portions. If it feels out of budget, then the good part is that they are listed on...
