This review is for the cafe at Neon Galaxy . I think it's called Chickadees. My son recently visited this establishment with high hopes of an infinite slushie experience, thanks to their tempting promotional signage that promised "40AED refill for life." Little did I know, it was a bait-and-switch game that would put even the slyest carnival tricksters to shame! You see, the moment my son went to the machine with the reusable cup, fully expecting to sip on unlimited slushies for his play session , he was hit with a shocking plot twist. The employee demanded another 20AED for the refill . As per my understanding , "refill for life" typically means that you can continuously or repeatedly refill a product for free. The staff explained that for 40AED, you can reuse the cup for a refill , but you still have to pay for refilling it every single time , while the non-refillable route is a mere 20AED. What truly confounds me is that both the 40AED and 20AED options come with the same chicken-themed cup. Could someone kindly explain why I should pay an additional 20AED to reuse my cup if I want another slushie? I mean I'm not exactly the most environmentally conscious person who would willingly spend the extra 20AED just to avoid adding another chicken-themed cup to the landfill. In other words, they're essentially making you cough up extra cash for the privilege of saving them money by your own cup. Does that make any logical sense to you? Because it certainly doesn't to me. In summary, if you're seeking slushie satisfaction without the head-scratching absurdity, I'd advise giving this "deal" a miss. P.S.: My husband took it upon himself to speak to the manager and request the removal of the misleading signage. He's convinced he'll make a difference. Care to make a friendly bet on whether that sign will still be around after three months? 🤣

Place is nice but horrible management and rules. I have a 6 years old daughter and a baby who doesn’t know how to play in playing areas yet. I wasn’t allowed to enter the baby to the big playing area which makes sense its for the older kids, but they didn’t allow me to have a chair or a bean bag to sit and wait one hour for my older daughter to finish her playtime, knowing that stroller also are not allowed inside. They want me to wait for 1 hour in standing position carrying a baby which doesn’t make any sense. They have only 1 table with 4 chairs which was busy with a half sitting half standing family eating from the cafe🤣🤣 please check the pictures to see the family. Worst rules and management decisions you will ever see in any playing area. Not flexible and there’s no way of communication with them. Don’t blame the staff, they are just doing what their managers ask.

Really great play facility at a reasonable rate, however, be aware of the explicit graphics on a big screen over the ball pit in the toddler area (scary zombies with open heads and brains showing). I asked to see a manager to switch them off as my toddler freaked out and I had to take him out. My older 3 were in bigger area with all day pass so I had to entertain my toddler in the Cafe the whole time. Majd tried his best to help me but had no authority to make decisions and was told by management that they could not switch it off so I should just make him look away when it comes on. By this time he wouldn't go back in. There was no offer to assist me in any other way, simply, "sorry, nothing we can do, but fill in this feedback form..." sickening. Amazing how over cautious everyone is about children's safety, but show zero concern for mental and emotional well-being.

SO! We decided to have a birthday in Neon Galaxy and were very excited to celebrate this day on March 10 well. As a result, we arrived at the appointed time at 11 am and waited for them to meet us and begin registration and preparation. IN THE RESULT, WE WERE NOT EVEN IN THE SYSTEM, although we paid everything in advance and sent all the information. A question was also asked on Friday, March 8, that rain is expected and it may be very difficult to get to the park on Sunday by calling. We asked the question if there was a function to reschedule a birthday, if it still rained on Sunday, the manager said yes it is possible, after why we called on the same day, March 8, Friday, and ordered that we leave our party for March 10! we will ! as the weather promises to be good!

Why they didn’t do this and as a result we were not in the system! The worst service! The worst interaction with guests! Rude communication between staff and guests! There's one answer to everything It's not our fault Not our problem.

The staff, as well as I WILL NOTE THE MANAGER OF THE SENIOR PLAYGROUND AREA, his name is RASESWAR, he communicated terribly and told us (YOU WILL NOT DO WHAT YOU WANT HERE) although we did nothing wrong, as soon as we received terrible service

When my friend and I wanted to play with our children on the playground, to which they said NO, and then I personally went to take a 3.5-year-old boy from our birthday to his 2-year-old brother to a small playground, since the child wanted to go to his parents and brother (to which they also said NOTHING 🚫) Any simple request we asked staff on the playground was rejected as “not allowed” THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I SEE, such conditions are terrible, such disgusting communication and generally completely impossible. Although in all playgrounds it is allowed to play with children and also take a three-year-old child to a two-year-old child in a small play area.

Staff was so in hurry to finish our party, to let us feel unwelcome Because they saw that it was each other’s birthday and they didn’t have time. When my son, whose birthday it was, sat down to paint his face and we were told Time's up I can't do it To which I answered: it doesn’t matter whether your time is up or not, but it’s included in the program! And my son has a birthday!

There is no customer service at all, as soon as you pay, they forget you.

The place is very nice!

But the staff is the most terrible I have encountered in 7 years of living in Dubai!!! We will never come to you again and will not recommend you to our friends! Our guests were also disappointed in your attitude towards us and the organization of...

By far the worst experience I had at a play area in Dubai. Staff are extremely incompetent starting from the moment we entered -they didn’t assist us accurately in filling their online form which resulted in unnecessary delays. The younger play area for kids under 98 cm has things which are not suitable for babies and young toddlers. My 2 year old was barely able to use any of it (he is 89 cm for reference). My older daughter (100 cm) didn’t like the older play area because of the dark / black areas inside - she found it too scary. When she came to the younger area (which was actually more suitable for her age) the staff said she’s not allowed, even though, you need to note: she is only 2 cm above their limit (b) the play area equipment is more suitable for her age as mentioned before (c) there was not a single other kid /person in the play area at the time and (d) she was literally only sitting in the ball pit. The staff created a huge issue out of nothing, insisting she goes out. Their solution was either to force her to go to the play area which scared her or to not play! When I refused to take her out, they said they will “help me” take her out and then they switched on the fire alarm only in the small play area! The alarm went on for at least 15 minutes with them insisting it was out of their control, which is very difficult to believe especially with the staff telling me that he will “help me” take her out! The staff created an issue out of nothing, used bullying tactics to enforce a meaningless policy, were incompetent in handling issues, left a very bad impression on my daughter. I don’t recommend this place at all for kids under 6… and the staff who “appear friendly” but are actually very inconsiderate and incompetent should be trained - including their management who miserably failed to address our concerns. Reading now other reviews it’s clear this is an ongoing issue which they are failing...

The worst indoor play area we've been to, it was the first and definitely last time we step foot in that place!

So, took my 2 boys and their friend to Neon Galaxy to have some play time, bought full day tickets... Turned out that my younger one isn't allowed to the big play area as he is only 97cm tall. A kid has to be taller than 99cm to be able to play in the bigger play area. Anyway, after trying to get an exception without any success, I took my younger one all alone and disappointed to the play area his height. Told my older son and his friend to join his brother later, so he wouldn't spend hours playing all alone, noting there were no kids at all present. After 30 minutes my older son comes to play with his younger sibling where he wasn't allowed to enter !!! Excuse me?????

I understand that my younger boy wasn't allowed to enter the play area for the bigger kids but why wasn't my older one allowed to enter the one for the toddlers????

Anyway, I started to negotiate again for an exception for at least let my older son join his younger brother this time, otherwise I would leave. Without blinking an eye, the manager told me "yes, you can leave"... I asked for my refund as the kids played only 30 minutes and I had bought full day tickets !!! But no refund was given!

It's a super nice place for the kids but the management is the worst! Super rude, not a single smile on their faces, so unprofessional and impolite, especially one lady at the counter who kept raising her voice evey time I wanted to say something.. Ahh and my nanny told me that a toddler was given access to the play area for the bigger ones a few minutes before we left.. they do give exceptions when they want to!

Anyway, it was the first and definitely last time we step foot in that place! Suuuuuper unprofessional and they don't care if you stay or leave... It's like they wanted us to leave...
