Linda Vista is a beautiful garden/green space fenced off from the meadows and river. It is well looked after and tended by volunteers. There is a small play area and then the trees, and bushes for kids to play in. There are a few picnic benches and numerous benches and lots of shade giving trees to picnic under. There is a little pop up cafe that is there and I believe they are currently in the process of renovating the toilets and a cafe building. A lovely space to meet, chat and allow the kids to run around in...

Very pretty and peaceful gardens with a stunning view of the Blorenge. Although only 5 minutes from the main street, Linda Vista gardens are a haven of peace and quiet. Very popular with locals and visitors alike, it is a wonderful place to have a picnic and relax. The gardens are well tended and there is always something to admire, regardless of the time of year. Best of all, it's free. Dogs are welcome but only on a lead. There is ready access down onto Castle Meadows, which...

Well looked after gardens set away from the road and next to the large river walk and fields, but hidden away behind a line of trees. Lots of flowers and seats. Play area for kids and big enough not to get to crowded. Photo taken of Linda Vista House on Black & White Infrared 720nm. 2nd photo is of the large field with pathway that leads to the town along the river and to the Castle and gardens . 3rd photo of the field walk next to the river .Many thanks Ian Worrell...

Visited in January so it was cold and not the best time of year to visit. However, it's still a pleasant stroll and it's a big garden with plenty of paths to follow. Lots of benches and picnic spots for the summer and places for kids to play. Offers access to the wider grassy spaces by the river as well. Free parking in the car park next to it, so if you're parked there and are heading into town it's worth a visit if you want to stretch your legs further.

What a beautiful place to visit for a slice of tranquility just a stones throw from Abergavenny town centre. Dog friendly (on leads) lovely grassy open spaces for you to stroll around and admire the gorgeous flowers, trees and wildlife. There is a little cafe just as you come into the entrance selling food and drinks, there are also toilets in the garden. Definitely recommend this park if you want space to wonder and re-set ❤️
