Very small museum on 3 floor, which are very cramped and you have to use the spiral staircase to get to the floor, as you would in a castle. I like this idea but the stairs are up and down and the floor are spaced out so bumping into people on the stairs is a high chance with the main castle being so popular. Some people just don't go back when they can and it makes it dangerous. The museum itself was ok and good to see the items on display. There are a few hats to put on for a bit of fun. Admission to this museum is part of your Alnwick castle admission, so the museum is free.

Nice little museum that charts the history of the Northumberland Fusiliers. Most f the exhibits are large collection of items with a description of all of the items in that part of the collection. The collection mainly consists of medals ( and Victoria Crosses), plus uniforms and other items associated with the Fusiliers. Entrance is free as it's already part of Alnwick Castle

The gardens were wonderful. I specifically went to see the northumberland fusiliers museum (for world war one ) but was not in impressed.

Great museum and really knowledgeable guide. Biggest disappointment was it is inside Alnwick Castle so you still need to pay to go into the castle to access the museum. I'd have rather paid separately to get into the...
