Tenterden Recreation Ground — Attraction in Ashford

The day that I visited Tenterden Recreation Ground it didn't look anything like the photo above. I was there fir the Tenterden Folk Festival and there was a giant marquee in place. Inside the marquee there where a whole host of assorted craft stalls as well as fashion stalls. Green space by the centre of town, including not one but two playgrounds. One for younger children/teenagers, and another separately fenced-off for toddlers.

Someone has put a lot of time into recreating the “Tenterden Flyer” 🚂 and also worthy of note and worth a stop alone is surely one of the longest slides you will find in a UK park 🛝

Great play space for kids of all ages. Has a fenced in area for little ones to play safely while parents watch. Outdoor gym for those wanting to improve fitness or just mess about. Wide open green space to play, kick balls or walk dogs or just sit and have a picnic. Plenty of parent seats and a picnic bench. Free nearby on raod parking for one hour or carpark next to it...
