Victoria Bridge in Bath is an elegant suspension bridge offering picturesque views of the River Avon. Built in 1836, its historical charm and architectural beauty make it a favorite spot for locals and tourists. The bridge’s recent restoration has preserved its classic design while ensuring safety. It provides a peaceful walkway connecting neighborhoods and is especially stunning at sunrise and sunset. The surrounding area is perfect for leisurely strolls, picnics, and photography. Victoria Bridge is a testament to Bath’s rich heritage, blending seamlessly with the city's Georgian architecture. A visit here enriches any trip to Bath.

This is no ordinary bridge, it was revelutionary in its time, built in 1836 it used interleaved sheets of wrought iron bolted together to create the chain and suspend the road way from adjustable rods from the the interleaved chain. Designed by James Dredge (1794–1863) who was an English civil engineer, architect and brewer. He was born in Bath . He designed over 50 bridges and piers

Beautiful bridge, I like to visit there during sunset to greet with local swans. Some pieces from the original bridge which was replaced with this, can be found nearby. There are many memorial items around the bridge, too you might have fun exploring

yeah so I never thought I'd be reviewing a bridge but here I am. Doing just that. Its worth reviewing. A fantastic foot bridge, easy to walk over. Feels sturdy I reckon. Long enough to enjoy it not too long that you're going to be worried about it. If you're a person that worries that is.

Overall I'd walk...
