Harland & Wolff is a shipyard in Belfast, Northern Ireland. It specialises in ship repair, conversion and offshore construction. Harland & Wolff is famous for having built the majority of the ocean liners for the White Star Line, including Olympic-class trio – RMS Titanic, RMS Olympic and HMHS Britannic. We were priviliged to be allowed entry into the drawing offices by our guide Chris, of Titanic Walking Tours. While the building had not been prepared as an exhibition at that point (and therefore would hold less interest to an "ordinary" tourist), the experience of walking in true Harland & Wolff surroundings was immensely gratifying for a lifetime Titanic buff.
