Visited this place today with my wife and her sister and when walking in we were left standing around and not welcomed or escorted to a table until we were saw by one of the staff and told to just sit at a table. We were then waiting for a while due to there only be two staff members even though the place is actively busy. When ordering, I requested the English breakfast and asked to swap the two eggs and tomatoes for extra toast and beans and they refused to adjust the menu in the slightest unless i was to pay extra per item even though I wanted to take items off. They were not accommodating in the slightest and even though they weren’t rude the customer service isn’t amazing. We also had to ask for the table to be cleaned. I think whoever is running the establishment is trying to penny pinch every coin they possibly can by not hiring more staff and also tryna charge more for adjusting items when in fact they are losing out on money as I then proceeded to order something half the price of the breakfast. My sister in law had the breakfast and the portion was also ridiculously small, I think they measure their bean portion by spoon fulls and my sister in law had no more than two spoon full at the most for a full English. Very...

I’ve been coming here for 2.5 years and came here today after a while, disappointed, dissatisfied and annoyed to say the least…

From the start the server’s (male) attitude/demeanour was off! Took our order, drinks didn’t come till after our food came as they had run out of hot chocolate which someone had to go buy. Food came and straight away it looked lacklustre. Sweet brioche was okay, not enough maple syrup&clotted cream. La brioche keto was disgusting! It said chicken sausage but it was a spicy thin Turkish sausage, said vine tomato’s but came as one half of a big tomato that was not cooked properly, was suppose to come with a spicy tomato sauce but didn’t come with it. And when I asked the male server about all these things he was not apologetic at all!😔 he just kept giving reasons and then lied to me saying the veg is cooked in the spicy tomato sauce but I know my food and there was not a drop of spicy tomato flavour. And then proceeded to make faces and do aggressive looking mouth movements… NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN DUE TO THIS HORRID EXPERIENCE. No ambiance, horrid food and...

Went to La Brioche for brunch today but unfortunately did not have a great experience. It was not too busy with only a couple of other diners and the place itself is quite cosy and decent. My wife ordered a full breakfast whilst I went for a breakfast crepe with scrambled eggs. After putting some pepper on the eggs I noticed a hair in them which is naturally off-putting. Not the end of the world, I spoke with one of the staff who saw the hair and took the plate to the kitchen. Came back a few moments later with the crepe so I could start on that before it got cold whilst the scrambled eggs were remade which made sense. Unfortunately the chicken/mushroom/cheese crepe was warm but not hot and the cheese was not melted. I could have asked them to reheat it but didn't want to push my luck. The one star is because when the scrambled eggs came back whilst it was hot it also had pepper on them. It was quite obvious they had simply fished out the hair and reheated the eggs before putting them on a new plate to serve. This is not the way a food establishment should...

Had a lovely experience here over the weekend. Me and my friend decided on having breakfast here. I opted for a hot chocolate and veggie breakfast. While she had a full English and cup of tea. (Both had sourdough toast and poached eggs) The food was delicious , poached egg cooked to perfection. My friend wanted the beef sausages, but they didn't have any- only the chicken ones. Salma asked if she maybe wanted the homemade ones that they do with their Middle Eastern breakfast (but my friend didn't want anything spicy)- very thoughtful, however, to give an option :). I did find the hot chocolate to be more on the milky side, but it was nice. Also, the menu says roasted vine tomatoes, but it was just half a tomato. The attention to detail was amazing. Salma, who served us, was really sweet and very attentive. The food came out really quick once ordered.
