First visit to Boo Burger. Only accidentally found it when passing through Mosley and decided to treat my family especially the place had good reviews and looked clean. Prices: on the steeper side but equally you likely get what you pay for. Taste: Excellent quality smashed patties very well cooked and flavourful. Other burger ingredients including bun and sauces of good quality. Standard chips were just warm and a bit soggy but thier ziggy fries were nicer and crisp. They have an option for spice dust (extra £0.50) which I feel should be a free optional extra Speed of Service: on the slower side and staff seem to be short numbered and overwhelmed but was told they are relatively new so taking their time but manager had positive attitude and was hands on with his team to get things going. Variety: not too many confusing burger options - I liked they had a variety of drinks to choose from included in their standard combo including usual Pepsi options , S.Pellegrino and the organic Karma cola. You can also choose a milk shake for an extra £1 There are kids meal options also with Robinson drink. Pictured is their signature boo burger in 8oz (largest size) - £11.50 for the burger + £3.95 to make it a meal Overall the experience was enjoyable. There was a slight delay to start making our an order but the manager offered us complimentary milk shakes as a good will gesture. Meals were filling. Kids enjoyed their food. Would recommend it and definitely coming back soon.

Review for Boo - A Hidden Gem in Moseley Village, Birmingham! For months, I’ve driven past Boo, always curious but admittedly a bit put off by the name. Something about it just didn’t scream “amazing burgers” to me, so I never bothered going in. But today, I decided to give it a try—and wow, am I glad I did! Yes, I finally walked inside, and the first thing I noticed was how spotlessly clean the place was. A well-deserved 5-star food hygiene rating proudly displayed, and you could tell they take cleanliness seriously. But the real surprise? The food. I was absolutely shocked at how good everything was. Black Angus beef burgers, cooked to perfection, bursting with rich, juicy flavor. The buns? High quality, soft yet perfectly toasted. And the chips? Out of this world. Seriously, I don’t think I’ve had better chips anywhere in Birmingham! You can taste the difference when fresh, high-quality ingredients are used, and Boo does not cut corners. The staff were also very, very friendly—welcoming, helpful, and genuinely passionate about their food. It made the experience even better. Overall, I had such a lovely meal here. If, like me, you’ve been hesitant to try Boo because of the name—don’t be! This is hands down one of the best burger places in Birmingham, and I highly, highly recommend it. I’ll definitely be back!

I recently visited the BOO branch in Birmingham and found the overall experience to be a mix of highs and lows. While the food offerings were tempting, including a diverse selection of burgers and sides like the Ziggy crinkle cut fries, my excitement waned when I tried the Balloomi burger. The halloumi in the burger was disappointingly hard, resembling more of a biscuit texture. However, I must commend the exceptional service provided by the staff, particularly Dan, who was attentive, polite, and made the dining experience enjoyable. Additionally, the environment was impeccably clean, adding to the pleasant atmosphere. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the vanilla and strawberry milkshake, striking a perfect balance between sweetness and creaminess. Unfortunately, the churros were a letdown, lacking filling. Despite these shortcomings, the BOO branch in Birmingham has potential, but improvements in food quality are needed to match the stellar service and cleanliness. On a related note, I visited the Leicester branch earlier this month, and the food there was better, providing hope for consistency across locations.

Boo Burger is a must-visit restaurant in Moseley, Birmingham. From the moment you step inside, you can tell that this is a place that cares about the quality of their food and the experience of their customers. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with nice lighting and clean comfortable seats. The staff are friendly and attentive, and they go out of their way to make sure that your dining experience is top-notch from start to finish. They are happy to make recommendations from the menu and answer any questions you might have about the food or the restaurant. This really helped me as i struggle with anxiety and the patient staff simply broke down the menu and were very nice.

Now let's talk about the food. The menu at Boo Burger is extensive, with a wide range of burgers, sides, and drinks to choose from. I ordered the Haystack burger, which came with a beef patty, crispy onion rings, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, and Boo Burger's special sauce. The burger was cooked to perfection and had a great combination of flavors that left me wanting more. The toppings were fresh and flavorful, and the bun was soft and pillowy. I also tried the rustic fries, which were crispy and perfectly seasoned.

One of the standout items on the menu is the peanut butter shake. This shake is rich and creamy, with just the right amount of sweetness. It's the perfect complement to any meal at Boo Burger, and I would highly recommend trying it.

Another thing that sets Boo Burger apart from other burger joints is their commitment to using high-quality ingredients. The meat used in their burgers was of the highest quality, and the buns were fresh. You can tell that a lot of care and attention goes into every dish that comes out of the kitchen.

Overall, I would highly recommend Boo Burger to anyone looking for a great experience in Birmingham. Whether you're looking for a quick lunch or a night out with friends, Boo Burger is the perfect choice. I can't wait to go back and try some of the other items...

Terrible service and attitude. I would love to comment on the food but we didn't get that far. My first visit, there were four of us in suits arriving after a function at 1025pm Thursday night (last night). We regularly eat out and spend a lot of our hard earned money at restaurants. Stated opening hours till 11pm. We arrived and wanted something quick and told the counter guy (apparently a consultant of some sort as well). Also told him our first visit. Before he would answer he said we close at 11 and you can only have takeaway. We travelled from Millenium Point and were from three different homes so that wasn't an option. I said happy to leave by 11 tell us what food you can prepare quickly but we have to sit and eat. He said no as he also had to tidy up and clean before 11. Then why have opening hours until 11. Say you are closed at 1030 and tidy up after - make it clear on google that it is takeaways at 1030. The individual didn't apologise - didn't care about the customer showed a lot of attitude. My family are from a restaurant background - the first time someone visit is an opportunity for repeat business. Repeat business is the lifeblood of local restaurants. When a local is treated badly , they don't come back. I hope the owner is reading and notes that if you state opening hours you operate them and that the staff are trained better at customer service when they disappoint people. I find independent restaurants are usually hungry for the business when many hospitality businesses are struggling and would not turn custom away from a near empty restaurant with over half an hour of opening remaining for fast food! I can only assume that the owner is not present and the management / staff don't really care about the success if...

When news came that Boo was opening in Birmingham and was local i was over the moon as a decent burger these days is hard to find. Boo Leicester has never let me down. But unfortunately this branch let me down. I was left so so disappointed. Does not compare to the Leicester branch at all. I came in last night just before closing. I ordered a smoky burger with extra jalapeños and an extra patty along with the rustic fries with cheese, a water bottle and a smore'. I was told by one of the staff that the smores were out of stock so they would refund me. On the packaging for the fries it says 'Hot 2 Home' it literally takes me from Alcester Road less than 10 minutes to reach home. The bag was left on heated seats but by the time I reached home the fries were cold and the burger meat was 100% not the same beef as the Leicester branch. The beef was cold and chewy whereas the Leicester branch is always melt in your mouth beef and always fresh and hot. I'm not sure if the burger was prepare along with the fries which is why they were both cold but it seems like the same care and attention to customers requests aren't being paid attention to. I also paid extra for jalapeños but I was missing these from the burger and on top of that I wasn't even given my water bottle. I can't understand how this would have happened as I was the only one ordering in the shop there were no customers waiting besides me which tells me the 3 to 4 kitchen staff ALL decided to ignore reading the ticket and just pass me whatever they could as it was closing time. I think I'm going to be sticking to the Leicester branch even though its an hour away its worth the drive. Step up your game. This is customers money you're...
