Lots of great shops although Pound Stretcher and of course Wilko are both sorely missed. The Clarks Outlet and M&S Outlet stores are definitely worth visiting for and the likes of Heron, The Works and Sports Direct all assure you of bargains. If only they had a toy shop like Entertainer or Smyths it would complete the offering.

The car parking is time limited but at least it's free. Unfortunately it is poorly laid out and gets heavily congested at peak leading to many delays. Beware as many cars ignore the one way system and do not follow the painted arrows in the road.

The exit should be better signed and especially the lane designation as the right lane is right only for taking you south back towards the city centre. Left is for left (north on Walsall Road to Scott Arms) AND straight on (north towards Aldridge Road past the greyhound track). This should be made clearer on approach especially for those unfamiliar with the area.

They appear to have improved the traffic lights on exit giving more time for the cars turning right. So it all seems to flow better than it did a few months ago as cars going left or straight on aren't as easily held up behind those waiting to turn right.

They should block off the first few turns as you first enter the car park after the little roundabout as this creates a lot of congestion and danger as cars often pull out and block everyone's passage. There's a lot of near misses.

It's probably beyond their control (yet maybe not their influence) that the approach from the city centre has pedestrian lights 100 yards from the main traffic lights outside the entrance to the shopping park. The issue is that despite this whole area being totally redeveloped only 2 years ago there is no connection between these 2 sets of lights. Stand there for 20 minutes and you'll see hundreds of cars waiting at the red pedestrian lights while the main traffic lights are/go green. When this happens no cars can flow so the main lights are completely wasted during this time and this leads to massive congestion especially at peak times. There's no excuse not to synchronise these 2 sets of lights. If the main lights are red then make the pedestrian lights red so pedestrians can cross without holding the traffic up unnecessarily. It's not rocket science!

If you go to the Asda do remember to get your trolley from the car park as there aren't any near the store itself.

You get the feeling it is 3 separate areas: the outside (with the car park), the inside (where the toilets and the Asda are) and the small outside area with the bus stops and access towards the train station. There is a Weatherspoon and some betting shops I've never used and I'm sure many people are unaware even exist.

Finally the toilets have finally improved so are now at least passable based on recent usage. However they could really do with specific individual disabled toilets. There is a locked baby changing room that you have to press a buzzer for which I have never used.

A mixed bag they need to improve on but well...

One Stop Shopping Centre in Birmingham is a practical and convenient destination, ideal for completing a variety of shopping needs in one place. It offers a good selection of stores, including high street retailers, supermarkets, and independent shops. Whether you’re looking for groceries, clothing, home essentials, or budget-friendly items, the centre caters to a wide range of preferences and budgets.

Accessibility is one of its strongest points. Located near major transport links, it’s easy to reach by car, bus, or train. Ample parking is available and more affordable compared to city centre options, making it especially convenient for drivers. The straightforward layout also makes navigation simple, allowing shoppers to find what they need quickly.

Dining options are limited but adequate for a quick break. You’ll find a few fast-food outlets and cafes, which are sufficient for casual meals or snacks. However, it’s not a destination for those seeking diverse or high-end dining experiences.

The centre is functional rather than stylish, lacking the modern appeal of larger shopping destinations. During peak times, it can become crowded, which may reduce the overall shopping experience. Despite this, its affordability and variety make it a practical choice for everyday needs.

Overall, One Stop Shopping Centre is a reliable option for quick, efficient shopping. While it doesn’t offer the glamour or extensive amenities of larger centres, its convenience and budget-friendly options make it an appealing choice for local shoppers...

One Stop Shopping is a retail complex located in Perry Barr, Birmingham, UK. It houses over 60 shops and restaurants, as well as a cinema and a gym, making it a popular destination for shoppers and entertainment-seekers.

One of the main advantages of One Stop Shopping is the range of shops available. The complex features a mix of high-street chains and independent stores, offering something for every taste and budget. The shopping centre also features a large supermarket, making it a convenient one-stop-shop for all your grocery needs.

In addition to shopping, One Stop Shopping also offers a range of entertainment options. The Vue cinema located in the complex shows the latest movie releases, while the PureGym provides a range of fitness classes and equipment for gym-goers.

The complex also has a range of dining options, including fast-food outlets and sit-down restaurants. This makes it a great place to grab a quick bite to eat or enjoy a leisurely meal with friends and family.

However, some visitors have reported that the shopping centre can be crowded and difficult to navigate at peak times. This can make it challenging to find parking, as well as causing long queues in the shops and restaurants.

Overall, One Stop Shopping is an excellent destination for those looking for a variety of shops, entertainment options, and dining choices in one convenient location. While it may be busy at times, the range of amenities and services available make it a great place to spend a day out with family...

A huge complex with big stores for every need. One can get household items like furniture, linen etc at a dedicated shop or in comprehensive stores like Poundland or Asda. There is a M&S and B&M too. There are multiple footwear and clothing brands, like Nike clearance store. Then there are others like Clarke, Foot Locker, JD, etc, that may help you to compare and get the latest product. The restaurant options are somewhat lesser but one can easily spot Chaiiwala (all day snacking) and Burger King among others. Another variety store is where all the Asian masala is available under one roof. Ample parking available. The new visitors to the complex can get benefitted by a map at the entrance and some other directions at the points of diversion. As one side of the entry leads you to a lobby with nothing. If it says that the market is on a floor below then the visitors can save some energy for walking all around when they reach the market.
