Bollington recreation ground is a large open space within the centre of Bollington. There are two car parks that get very busy at the weekend, disabled parking and access is available. In the summer months cricket is played most weekends. During non covid times there are public toilets, however they are currently closed as at July 2021. Roughly every four years the recreation ground is host to the big tents of the Bollington Festival. The grounds are suitable for family picnics, a rug and/or folding chairs are recommended. Tennis courts are available to hire via the Leisure centre. There is a bowling green used by the local club.
