I have been going to Cineworld my whole life as it is my local cinema, and I have to say the experience is what you expect from a cinema and the staff working there. I go to Cineworld quite regularly in my free time as it feels amazing to be immersed in a film.
For a start this Cineworld cinema has convenient parking, though on busy days parking spots are not very abundant. The grounds seemed tidy and most litter/rubbish was not in sight. When I went to the counter to get my movie ticket the member of staff serving me was quite pleasant and seemed well rounded. The payment process was simple, as they accept both cash and card (I am not sure if they support contactless)
After I got my ticket I went to the screen number printed on my ticket but someone will rip your ticket beforehand. Once I entered the auditorium the atmosphere felt amazing, with the dynamic lights the comfy seats and a clean and tidy environment it is a nice place to be.
After the movie you can grab something to eat at Frankie & Benny’s which is an Italian restaurant located near by the cinema (around 2 minutes from Cineworld entrance). If you do not feel like Italian food then you can go to Cotton Kier which is a Pub restaurant with classic pub food. They also offer kids menu as do Frankie and Benny’s.
Cineworld has full wheelchair access as they have an elevator to access the upper levels of...
Read moreI informed Cineworld of the problems with the film consistently freezing at a viewing 3/6/25 screen 3, 18:50 at this location ruining the film. We Won't be going back to Cineworld after my recent appalling customer service i received from them. It was reported to the staff by another customer who said he was told it happens a lot of times. This is the response i received from Cineworld.
Unfortunately, as the cinema staff was not made aware of the situation during your visit, we are unable to provide compensation or a refund at this time. Also, we advise customers who are unhappy with any aspect of their visit to leave the auditorium within 20 minutes, reporting any discomfort to the Duty Manager, so a refund request can be addressed. If you do experience these conditions again then please ask to speak to the Duty Manager at the cinema, who will look into resolving the matter for you and issue a refund if need be. We do value the feedback coming from our customers. Either positive or negative feedback is very important to us. In light of the details provided by you, I have passed them to the Management Team to let them know about the problem that you have raised. Please accept my apologies for any frustration experienced during this visit and I do hope any future visits to this cinema are more enjoyable.

Read more"I love cinema, been an unlimited member for 26 years and have been to the cinema hundreds of times. I just think there's an issue that you can solve. I'm almost certain attendance figures are down and it's hard balancing the books. However, I think you could really boost appeal and bring more people in by NOT charging extortionate prices for things. For instance, a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children pay the best part of £30 to get in and then almost the same again for snacks and drinks. People are struggling for money as it is and will simply choose to stay at home, stream something and get snacks at the supermarket for a fraction of the cost. Yeah, they're paying for the cinema experience but, they're paying over the odds for it. To quantify this, my partner and I took our 2 children to Butlins during school holidays for 4 nights, it included all entertainment, fairgrounds and waterpark and only cost £79, that's a fraction more than our cinema visit would have cost us today. I honestly believe if you had fair pricing for food and snacks and tickets, you get more customers returning for the experience as it wouldn't break the bank every...
