Rumba Rapids — Attraction in Borough of Runnymede

This ride probably has the shortest queue at peak times, and the waiting time is really overestimated! It is a family friendly ride, and one of the signs said you had to have an adult with you if you are under eighteen, however we saw plenty of children riding it and there was no trouble. You probably won't get wet on this ride but it is definitely nice and relaxing. You are seated on an eight person raft / rubber ring cross, so you may be put with other groups of people. The whole journey is about two minutes, and there are waterfalls, waves and water guns where people can pay to spray water at the rafts coming past, and believe me, they do! The abandoned theming is very realistic. You can see the patchy cheap paintwork flaking away. Plenty of burnt tree stumps around the ride. The throughput is kept as low as possible in order to keep a nice long queue to justify fastrack sales. Pretty much stay completely dry if you’re worried of getting wet on a water ride.
