Me and my two friends and my dad went on this today. Personally we thought the whole experience was amazing. The only issue is if you are in an odd number group you have to go with a random person so you have to wait splitting you and your friends up. However, other than that it was absolutely amazing. Me and best friend have anxiety and we found it enjoyable as we were told there would be actors but they could not touch us. First of all you watch a quick thing on a screen with your group which was very in aline with what twd is all about. Next you walk through a dimley lit pathway which is eery but still you can see. Next you go on a coaster which Is where you may be split up. Also while you wait for the coaster there is a very jarring every minute or so that was the only anxiety provoking thing. Then you come to a bit were the zombies are. Me and my best friend went on again and we had so much fun the second time as we knew where they would be so we ran so fast making it feel so real. If you do have severe anxiety and need to get of at any point there are plenty of staff before and after the coaster. Overall a very enjoyable experience and definitely going on it...
Read moreA great alternative experience to your typical, outdoor coasters! This was a fun, immersive experience that my fiancée and I both enjoyed. The only downside, and this one was annoying, was when they open the doors after the video announcement. This basically encouraged everyone to run forwards and squeeze through a small door and caused a bit of panic to some. Then in the long corridor enroute to the coaster, I had 3 teenage girls behind me absolutely terrified and they were screaming nonstop whilst kicking my heels as they were desperate to run. I've never been subjected to a noise like that for so long. Half way down the corridor I had to stop my fiancée and let these girls past! I'm glad they were having fun but wow.... my ears weren't!
That aside, it's a great little indoor coaster with some great theming. We later went back on it and enjoyed it again, both times getting on the front of the train!
The second time around however we stayed at the back of that initial room and waited for everyone to squeeze through! I recommend you...
Read moreI'd love to know why a mediocre family coaster is themed to this very adult show? It's all wrong, who is the target audience here? The long walk to the coaster station is so dark, very easy to walk into something and yet nothing really to see. The coaster is really boring, the theming is subpar and then you have another long walk in darkened rooms to get out. So clearly this needs an overhaul, if not the wrecking ball. I'd expect they don't have the budget to put in a new coaster here so I'd suggest getting rid of the Walking Dead IP completely (as it's not current anymore and probably costing a lot) and create a new children's and family area here. This park doesn't have much to offer kids in terms of coasters so there's a gap for sure. It is also in need of a decent dark ride, so this show building could be perfect for a re-theme to plug these obvious gaps. The Walking Dead is another one and done for me along with Saw and Collosus the colossal headache! I'll give it 2 stars because as a fan of the TV series some of the theming is...
