A tranquil, spiritual, beautiful and fascinating place - one of the shiniest historical gems of Bridgend town and county.
St John's House is run by a local charity and everyone involved is a volunteer. The team is extremely friendly and welcoming. The tours are informative, professionally delivered and insightful, there is a well-stocked gift shop, and you can sit and enjoy a decent filter coffee and light refreshments.

It's a great experience for family: my son loved practising "Brass rubbing" to reproduce a Welsh dragon, that is now gleefully on display in his bedroom =).
