Ok if you have older kids who use skateboards or scooters etc but in terms of the park it is very limited for older kids ( 10-11 plus ) as there isn't much for them other than the climbing dome which was closed. My daughter enjoys going to the park (12) and I like to take her as well as her brother (14) and oldest brother (16) because they are actually kids again for a few hours instead of being the stroppy social media insecure mini adults this generation is becoming. Read moreA really comprehensive park and playground. It's very large and spacious with different areas/zones for a range of ages. Lots of play equipment and hands on activities to do: water cascade, sand pulleys, zip line, a variety of swings including for those with mobility issues and a large climbing area for the over 10s. There are tables and benches scattered around and some grassy areas for picnics. There's a basic cafe with toilets inc disabled toilet. Car parking is free at Hengrove Retail Park. Currently there's a hand sanitiser at the parks entrance and at peak times there were council staff monitoring admittance at the gates. There's an adjacent...
Read moreGreat open space with loads of activities to keep the kids active. The sand around the park is clean, the whole park is well looked after with someone on duty at all times, which is why it has reduced hours. There are toilets and a small canteen, an area for younger children and an impressive zip wire & slide for older kids (which looks like the "bird cage" from Jurassic Park 3 which held the Pteranodons). Its next to the Cinema/Bingo, so there's plenty of parking. There's also a skate park beside it and a large field for the family to play ball games. A great facility, well worth visiting for...
