Hengrove Mounds — Attraction in Bristol

Surprisingly lovely little spot for a walk green space, fresh air, and, to my absolute delight, goats. Yes, actual goats. 5/5 for that alone. They really are the stars of the show, casually munching away like they run the place

Unfortunately, the ambiance was slightly undercut by the local wildlife of a different kind, a small herd of chavs near one of the benches, ceremoniously cracking open cans and setting off smoke signals with their vapes. They seemed to be auditioning for Love Island: Lost in the Mounds. Bit of a vibe killer.

Still, if you can dodge that particular ecosystem, it’s a cracking little spot. Just follow the sound of the goats, not the bassline from someone's tinny Bluetooth speaker,...
