I took my boy to Play Palace yesterday, and we had an absolute blast! This indoor play area is a haven for kids, offering a range of activities and a safe environment for them to let loose and have fun. The first thing that caught my attention was the vibrant and colorful setup of Play Palace. The place is filled with exciting play structures, including slides, ball pits, tunnels, and climbing frames. My baby was immediately drawn to the various play areas, and his eyes lit up with excitement. The play equipment at Play Palace is well-maintained and safe. I felt reassured knowing that my child could explore and play without any major safety concerns. The padded flooring throughout the play area added an extra layer of safety, ensuring a worry-free experience. One of the highlights of Play Palace is its dedicated toddler zone. This area is specially designed for my kid, with age-appropriate play equipment that is safe and engaging. My little one had a blast crawling through tunnels, and playing with soft toys. The staff at Play Palace were friendly and attentive. They kept a watchful eye on the play area, ensuring that all children were safe and following the rules. It was evident that they genuinely cared about the well-being and enjoyment of the kids. In addition to the play structures, Play Palace also offers other amenities to enhance the experience. There is a comfortable seating area for parents to relax and keep an eye on their children. The cafe provided a variety of snacks and refreshments, allowing us to recharge and grab a quick bite while the kid played. The pricing at Play Palace was reasonable, considering the quality of the facilities and the entertainment provided. It is a place where kids can have a memorable time while parents can relax and enjoy. I highly recommend visiting Play Palace for a fun-filled day of play and...
Read moreAs a regular to Play Palace me and my kids really missed it being closed and were excited to go there finally over the past 2 weeks. The first week we went the experience was good, there were very few children and there was table service as well as some clear Covid rules set out.
After the good experience I went back the next week and there were even fewer children (great for us but not so much for Play Palace). As usual I was given my covid rules list on the back of the menu which includes regular hand washing, wearing of masks when not on tables and a note of table service (please don't approach the counter) etc.
There was one other group only in Play Palace and on no single occasion did they put on a mask. 4 adults walking around me and the staff with no masks, not following the rules set out by Play Palace. The point of wearing masks when possible is to minimise your risk of spreading germs, spreading the virus so when you're not sat down eating or drinking then you should absolutely wear a mask. It is arrogant to not to do so but hey I'm not even annoyed at the people, that's their business if they want to be selfish. My issue is with Play Palace handing out token leaflets asking you to follow the rules then not even asking or having a quiet word when people don't comply.
Given the fact there are record numbers of daily infections currently, if I do go back to a soft play facility, it won't be this one. I'm sure I won't be missed but I'm also sure there are more people who care about wearing masks than those who don't so don't expect too many of those people to return if they...
Read moreI went around 1.30pm knowing it will be closing at 3pm. However my little one wanted to play ,and been looking forward to it all day. We paid the £3.70 fee and was told the cook was on lunch , so if we needed to order we had to wait. My initial thought about the place was quite under staffed ,even though when we got there it was just one lady and we were the only customers. After 30mins more people came and started to get slightly busy. However all 3 members of staff seemed quite overwhelmed. Even though I had a toddler and a newborn and asked if the food can be served on the table I was sat on, the lady serving gave me this look of 'it was too much to ask' as she was getting overwhelmed with all 3 people she was serving .😂😂😂
Seriously if you want people to come back give them a family friendly experience . Dont make people feel like they are a burden or make them feel uncomfortable for asking the basic service . Sadly this is one of the few in Halifax central but looks like will have to...
