Water Street Gallery | West Yorkshire | Art Gallery - Craft & Gift Shop — Attraction in Calderdale

The Water Street gallery is such a beautiful, considered space. I really think Todmorden is lucky to have it. I've been going for years and silently admiring the place. There's regular exhibitions from a wide range of artists that spreads out over two floors. They include everything from fine art, print work, sculpture, lamps, etc. You can peruse the space in your own time. The space has been made excellently to admire work and experience itself, something I really enjoy as a quiet and interested person. It's honestly a great space to enjoy and take in. If you ask, they know everything about whatever has caught your eye, which I love. I bought a small clay vase last Christmas that had two Hares engraved in it, when I went to buy it I was told that it was made by a ceramicist in Wales who's family lived in the valley and just how it was made. It's just amazing! something like that is really special. I felt lucky. You can tell a lot of love has gone into this gallery, I'm glad to have it on...

Poor customer service, incredibly rude telephone manner. Placed an order and paid for Royal mail special delivery. Had no correspondence from the gallery following purchase and when I phoned to enquire, the member of staff stated well I don't even know who you are! She then stated deliveries made after 2pm on a Friday, aren't collected until the following working day (Monday) and I should have read that on the website. After going through the website, I couldn't find this information but she reiterated twice that I had not looked properly and the mistake was mine. I used the Web chat to enquire about the delivery times of royal mail special delivery and had been informed it was Saturday and Sunday 9am and 1pm, to this information she just said oh well. Just received my beautiful little items in a very well packaged safe sturdy box which I could track and it was fast delivery. Beautifully wrapped and then each item was wrapped like a little present it was wonderful! The items are absolutely gorgeous really different gifts ( to myself!) and I will definitely be buying more from this...
