Situated in the middle of Todmorden. Great food, and a good choice of vegetarian and vegan dishes and some unusual drinks, such as a pistachio latte (3.75), which I had and was lovely, there was also a gingerbread latte, a spiced pumpkin latte, a biscoff latte and a hazelnut latte as well as the usual mocca, caramel, vanilla latte's and beetroot latte. They also have some interesting teas including; gunpowder mint tea, ginger root and lemon herbal tea, Japanese sencha green tea as well as the traditional breakfast, earl grey and decaf teas, all £2.95. The food is also different from the usual cafes, I had a falafel flatbread (£13.95) which came with thick cut chips, my friends had; the spanakopita toastie (£10.50) which was Philadelphia cheese with feta cheese and spring onion, they also do a vegan option, the "A bit fishy" toastie (£9.95), which was 2 cheeses, creme fresh, tuna mayo and red onion, both said that they loved it. My partner had the garlic mushrooms with a cheesy garlic flatbread (£11) but thought it was a little bland and could have been more garlicky, which I agreed with. We called on Rememberance Sunday afternoon and it was very busy which might account for the longer that usual wait for the food. It was also very noisy but we were sat next to a table with 2 young noisy children. We booked in advance and its a good job we did. I'd definitely recommend you try it especially if you're vegetarian or vegan and like to try different...

An honest review for the Honest John. Food, ambience, service generally very good (save for the young lady with the blue hair streaks) Lighten up love.....you work in hospitality, not a funeral service. A smile and an acknowledgement that punters are paying good money to patronise your workplace surely wouldn't go amiss. Look at your co-workers....they seem to enjoy their work! The surroundings are great, converted from a bank with relics of the building's past, preserved.....well done for that. Some of the higher surfaces are significantly covered in dust and cobwebs and really need to be addressed....as do the toilets. While functional and superficially clean, they really need a bit of a deep clean. Corners are neglected everwhere in this establishment. There's a lot to like here, especially with the quirky yet very well attended ordering/paying system. A little attention to the housekeeping would work wonders and afford the...

Very disappointed. Visited today and had to sit outside as they couldn't fit us in inside apparently. We went outside all tables and chairs not in the gazebo were wet through . So went into gazebo all tables dirty and sticky , asked for it to be cleaned waitress came out and squirted table with.cleaner on jet setting not spray went all over me and in my eyes. She apologised and disappeared my eyes streaming and sore. Food came Luke warm and there was a curly black hair stuck on my chicken , nobody came to ask if everything was OK and we had to pay before food came so couldn't even refuse to pay for mine . I ate few chips husband ate some of the salad and we left . Not a great experience from start to finish .won't return have taken photos but no...

Super personable and wonderful bunch of people with amazing food. The ultimate Todmorden experience. The food was outstanding. The Cypriot breakfast was done with perfection and so was the flatbread. I'd like to also state that the hazelnut oat milk latte and the caramel cappucino is something that I still think about today and I am going to come back for, even as a flying visit. It's not even one of those artisan pretentious coffees, it's just a really amazingly well made inclusively brewed coffee from 2023. Thank you also for accommodating my dog. While my dog is not a Labrador, he looks like one and seemed to have turned up at the same time as four other black labs. What a meetup ❤️ thank you for everything. Will be back again soon!

Had a wonderful meal here. We got 5 of the small Greek dishes and some flatbread between me and my partner and they all tasted fantastic. A special shout-out to the prawn dish as the sauce that came in was amazing. We also had a couple of cocktails each which were both very nice and their selection is huge. It was all table service and we were able to reserve a table on the day though I think we were lucky as it soon filled up there. Staff were very friendly and it has a wonderful atmosphere overall, half way between a bar and a lounge, with some lovely brick and stonework showing on the backwalls. Whole evening came to just over 50 quid, cannot recommend highly enough
