Mill Green and Hawks Green Valley Nature Reserve — Attraction in Cannock Chase

If you want a quiet space away from the retail Park. I advise you to visit the nature reserve. Tidy peaceful take your time out to clear your head. Or just go down for a walk around. There is a map to take you on a trail. Great for cycling too. Went on my cycle. You can go by bus,train or cycle. Clear signs for bridal ways. Got a duck and geese pond, there nesting at the moment try and keep your dogs on the lead or away from the pond area. One of the paths lead you back to the retail park. By the retail Park and nature reserve is the train station, chip shop,asda small shop miller and Carter pub, go under the railway bridge leads you to cannock Town centre. Lovely place to have a walk, see wildlife, feed the ducks, walk your dog ect we love visiting both my girls love it even if you have to put your raincoat and wellies on!! 🌧 I do think it's a shame it's not as big as I remember as a child and that the designer village that is being built is so close to part of the path I really didnt expect them to build so close to the reserve shame really I hope they do something to rectify the blip on such a beautiful area. Very pleasant walk round the water. I think its about 1 mile round it or just under. It's a good concrete path to walk on, it's quite wide only problem is the nettles are beginning to spread into the paved area they should be kept cut back because I'm sure lots of children as well as adults will be stung by the nettles.
