Shabab Restaurant — Restaurant in Cannock Chase

The Shabab has been the place of many meals for me and my friends, I used to work for Morrison's which is next door to the restaurant, and know the staff there pretty well as I used to serve them frequently in the supermarket.

They have always called me by my first name, I'm pretty impressed that they remember and want to engage in conversation with their customers.

There food is always really nice and the service is excellent, they don't try rush you out but also don't try and keep you there waiting for ages (which I hate in some places!).

Today I received a Christmas card in the post which was labelled to me and to my girlfriend, which has REALLY impressed me as not only do they remember our names but somehow have my address even though I have never paid on card!!

DEFINITELY MAKING AN APPOINTMENT TO VISIT THEM SOON TO EAT...

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED at the manner in which I have been so rudely spoken to !!! Me and my wife have just visited the restaurant hoping to get a meal from our long journey when we asked for a table for two The gentlemen said to me that I was inappropriately dressed in my own work branded clothing which only had my company name on it HFROOFING i have eaten in some of the uk's best named restaurant in my clothes such as miller and carter , nandos , TGI Fridays and many more but in such a high class restaurant such as shabab I wasn't granted a table, I would like for anyone wishing to book a table to know should you have a company logo on your jacket you will not be accommodated, I will never be visiting this restaurant again and recommend for people not to visit very disappointed as we...

It's been a couple of years since I've been to Shabab and we wasn't disappointed Within a few minutes we were seated , chairs were very comfortable tables a decent size , we ordered our food once we had chosen off the menu , I decided on mixed meat jalfrezi and keema chips and a special naan. Food was amazing , probably one of the best Jalfrezis I've had . Wasn't so keen on the chips , well presented but not for me, everything else was great . Staff were very good , I know people like to see pictures so I took one halfway though 🤭 Don't let those little silver bowls put you off , never eaten so much different meats , very filling !
