My 18 month old son and I took part in the Nature activity Day with the Parks Trust, at Linford Lakes nature reserve. The staff were amazing; this is clearly a passion of theirs and not just a job. They were incredibly informative, patient and kind. Although the age said 6+ we had been to the one the year before, and had called in advance to ensure that it was ok for our little adventurer, and it was a brilliant inspiring and stimulating day for him. We were informed that our son might not be able to engage in certain activities which we accepted as his age can limit activities however he was able to take part in it all! The park, Willen lakes and beyond are always maintained well, and always clean. The attention to detail to very delicate obsecurities Is evident from the light tower and also the highly maintained and practical open air amphitheatre.

Read moreOn Sunday we walked the Parks Trust Challenge 25 mile walk. It was training for a Macmillan walk in July. It's a great walk and passes through some of MK hidden areas. Met lots of fellow walkers, fisher men and canal boat owners. Visited lots of MK I never new existed and gave insite into the naming of the various areas of MK.
