We went to Dino and Farm park yesterday with a Dino mad 5 year old, a 2 year old and grandparents. It was an interesting experience to say the least. Firstly, the good. 5 year old had the time of his life, loved seeing all the dinosaurs and going in the play areas. It's not too big so youngest was able to run around all day and use the play areas without us being overly worried about them going too far.

Now the bad, the park is very dated and in need of a refurb. A lot of the dinosaurs and plastic farm animals have paint missing and some have actual parts missing. It wouldn't be too bad but this was pretty much all of them. There are black boxes next to every Dino which you can see is for the electronics and there's no attempt on some of them to hide the base they are on or make it blend in. This didn't bother the kids but it does ruin the magic a bit. The main horde of dinosaurs is in one enclosed pen that take about 10 seconds to walk round and then there is a few raptor looking things sorted about. It such a shame, because when you first walk in there are 3 amazing looking moving dinosaurs with a big cave and sand pit for kids to dig in. Then you get to the spinning tower that allows you to go up and get a view of lots of trees and a couple of dinosaurs. Not only is it placed badly, it's a rusty cage and makes a hideous squealing noise as it goes up and down like it needs greasing. The farm park is not much different. There are more plastic animals than real ones and again all in need of a touch up. Most of the giant insects are missing wings or other parts giving the park a sort of abandoned feel. There's even a weird farmer with a broken banjo in a hut singing old mcdonald. Old disused equipment can be seen laying around the edges of the park with no effort to hide it behind a fence or a building. All the extra activities were shut, apart from a climbing wall and the boat trip, and there was no real information.

Now to the staff and the food. I recommend taking a picnic. We went to the restaurant, which was a disaster. For starters they had hardly any of the menu in stock, which limits an already limited selection. After going up a couple of times to see how our food was doing and being told it would just be a couple of minutes an hour waiting resulted in a man coming out to check our order and further wait and then cold food. I will admit I was a bit rude to the man, however after waiting an hour with hungry kids kicking off and being told food would be along shortly I'd had enough. We were refunded for some of the food that was stone cold so it wasn't the end of the world, but wasted an hour of our day. Other customers had also been waiting 45-60 minutes and had just asked for a refund rather than wait any longer. The thing that frustrated me the most was that this was the only food outlet in the park so you'd think they would have been run a bit better. I don't understand how they didn't have sufficient stock for a Saturday when they had only been open for an hour, weren't up front with customer and told them what they had and how long it would take, kept taking orders when they were already backed up and took an hour to produce cold "fast food".

The boat trip was another disappointment. Its a 5 minute tour with mostly the same dinosaurs you've already seen. There are speaker on the boat which didn't get used, instead the guy running the boat was just shouting which you couldn't hear. The boat is split in 2. There is a boat with a small outboard motor, then the back it almost like a trailer. So if you sit in the back you get the exhaust fumes in your face and the occasional splash, which was odd as the guy running the boat had had a go at a child for putting their hand in the water telling them they needed to wash their hands immediately because the water is dangerous if ingested. So if they don't kill off your lungs, they'll cover you in poisonous water. All in all pretty poor.

So to summarise this long review. My kids had a good time but I wouldn't go back. Save your money and go...

Recently visited Gulliver's Dino Park & farm with my 4-year-old daughter, and it was an absolutely wild experience for her. She thoroughly enjoyed every moment, making the £36 entry fee for three people well worth it just to see her smile and enjoy her day. She loved to boat ride and the Dino scooter things, which for the sake of your staffs sanity stop them from playing that repetitive follow me song! We spent approximately 4 hours in the park, wandering back and forth and even had the opportunity to feed the animals.

However, as an adult, I couldn't help but notice a few shortcomings in the park. From my perspective, the park felt a little bleak and tired in certain areas. There were a number of places that seemed to be missing something, whether it was an animal enclosure or an attraction with animatronics. Many of the statues were aged, with bits missing, holes in them, and tails ripped off. It was clear that some maintenance and refurbishment were needed.

It was a relatively quiet day during our visit maybe because Google listed them as closed today when in fact they were not. One thing I couldn't help but notice was the limited number of staff present. I could count them on one hand, which wasn't too bad, but there were places where I expected to see someone, such as the reptile house, theatre, and dig experience. Instead, there were numerous signs explaining that these rides or attractions were not supervised. It would have been more enjoyable to have staff members available at these locations.

When it came time to have lunch, we found a picnic table behind the Raptor Cafe, which overlooked the boating lake. On the map this looked idyllic, but unsurprisingly, the lake was in dire need of cleaning and perhaps topping up 😄 the cafe itself was closed. It was disappointing to see neglect in what could have been a lovely spot.

Despite these issues, I must say that the staff we did encounter were pleasant, polite, and professional. They seemed to be doing their best to handle things, considering the circumstances. I did enjoy my visit overall, and I would be willing to visit again. My review is not a terrible one because I believe there is a lot of potential here. It reminded me of Roar Dinosaur Park in 2016, which also had great potential but needed some love and attention to truly shine. With some improvements and refurbishments, this park could become a really...

We have visited Gulivers land and stayed a night at the Gulivers Dinosaur and Farm park. Well, check in is at 4pm which is quite late as it is yet our room wasn’t ready and had the wait longer. Adding to the upset with two tired kids, the place was handed over still dirty; only the beds were made up but overall dirt and cobwebs everywhere. The next door people had the same experience except that their bed wasn’t made up either and they head to do it themselves. The food on site was just awful, we had dinner there which was basic and it worth the price, the breakfast went to bin straight away, never quite thought the eggs on toast can go so horribly wrong. The dinner is dirty and run down like the whole park and facilities; the whole site needs an overhaul. In the diner the cutleries are left on the tables in a glass to help yourself; bear in mind kids are playing with them with dirty hands whilst waiting for their food so your pick next time…as for that I had to ask for wooden forks. Toilets are filthy and you are better off using the overgrown bushes. The movie night was scheduled to start at 8:50 which is quite late in my opinion and should have been started by 8 as it is for little ones but with that being said the film wasn’t in till 9:15 as they were selling popcorn and the whole thing was running late. It’s a real shame that the splash park/water slides are not working! Could be the best asset for this place. The dino park is underwhelming and not worth the visit; some broken dinos cover in cobwebs and dirt; everything broken and dated or out of use. My son was excited about the electric dink car rides; it wasn’t working. The Farm side is in better condition but again not much to do; tractor ride 30 sec. The most fun they had was at the wall climbing and bouncing pillows. Overall, the keeping site needs some serious attention and deep cleaning. The bathrooms need regular checks and cleaning throughout the day. I went to use the toilet before bedtime and 4 out of 5 was in a state of no use🤢 Next day morning they were still the same, so no one bothered to check or clean them. We didn’t even shower as it was so bad. The food is not edible so make sure to take your own food and snacks. As for the sink park, don’t expect much and if that’s the main reason you would want the travel there,...

Extremely poor quality, everything seemed quite dirty too. The loos weren't too bad actually. The props were terrifying to young children due to being old and weathered. My son asked me why the eye fell out of the farmer's face and a needle in his hand. He couldn't understand why he was a funny colour and even a few days later kept bringing it up in conversation. Can no one stitch up the legs on the t-rex? The WORST part was the conditions of the reptile house. The dirty and small.. extremely unsatisfactory condition of the animals and not supervised at all so children terrifying the animals all day long by shouting, running and banging on all the windows. The fish are in a pond far too small for them also. The state of water bowls for those who had them and some reptiles had completely dried out moss that should be kept damp to help with shedding skin. I dread to think of the disease and bacteria that could be living with those animals. Will be reporting to RSPCA today, and any reptile organisations. The farm animals were thankfully in better livable conditions. The food in the cafe was well overpriced for the rubbish that they served. Also took our number away with only serving us part of our order, after having to go back to the counter to explain, I discovered that our panini was just left inside the grill and was filled with other left over bits of sandwiches. The tables weren't cleaned by staff at all. The soft play area was so dirty, I couldn't let my children in there unfortunately. Sad really as my son loves dinosaurs, the whole reason I picked this venue during half-term. Very disappointed.

This was our 4th and last visit over 3 years, it's been nearly a year since our previous visit and the already run down park has only got worse. It seems rare all attractions are open, this time the boat ride (the highlight of our previous trips) was closed for maintenance which seemed poorly timed for a bank holiday, the ride on walking dinosaurs were not open, half the tanks in the reptiles area were empty with 'new species coming soon' signs, paths were flooded or ridiculously muddy, the 'barefoot path' feature was too flooded to use, and the few rides open had up to an hour of queuing for a very underwhelming minute or two of a ride. The farm was OK but again flooding meant many areas were not accessible. As always the cafe service was very slow and most menu items were not available (this has been the case every time we have visited, we had learnt from this and brought a packed lunch but I wanted a hot drink to go with it, but even that was not available). I understand that park staff cannot control the weather but it would have been beneficial to be told just how much of the park was closed off/not usable before paying our entrance fee as it was definitely overpriced to see what was left. If you are going to make the trip I would recommend taking your own food and drinks, going in term time to avoid bottle necking of crowds at the few actual attractions there, checking when you buy your tickets that the rides are all open, and making sure it hasn't rained for a good 3-4 days before you go as it seems they have drainage issues.
