We stumbled across Cheddar Crazy Golf on a whim while exploring the area, and we’re so glad we did—it turned out to be a real highlight of our day! Tucked away just behind the row of shops at the base of Cheddar Gorge, this place is a true hidden gem. At just £5 per person, it’s a total bargain and kept us happily entertained for ages. The 18-hole course is really well designed, with loads of variety and quirky challenges that kept it interesting from start to finish. It’s clear they’ve made excellent use of the space. Even though it was fairly busy when we visited (on the 5th of April 2025), the flow of the course meant we never had to wait long at any of the holes. Everything was well looked after, and the vibe was friendly and relaxed. A special shoutout to the member of staff working that day—he was fantastic! Full of enthusiasm and genuinely welcoming, he even took the time to show my daughter where the golf balls disappear to at the end of the course, which she loved. It’s a fun, practical, and affordable way to spend a few hours with family or friends, and we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area. Highly recommended for all ages—and yes, it’s...
Read moreReason I have put a poor review is because the owner lied to us to get us to play as my Son is in a wheelchair and I asked before we committed to playing if it was wheelchair accessible and was told by the owner yes it is you can come in with a wheelchair but after we paid and entered we found it clear wasn't as there were many steps going up and back down to different holes and even the ones that did not have steps that were on ground level were not wheelchair accessible as the holes were so close together, if after asking the owner had of simply been honest and said no then that would have been fine we wouldn't have gone in nor complained as I totally understand its a crazy golf course but when the owner is that desperate for sales he has to lie to a family with a disabled child, absolutely disgusting attitude. Visted...
Read moreThis is such a hidden gem of Cheddar Gorge! Saw the sign for crazy golf as we were walking around the shops and was excited, but I was even more excited for the unexpected old-fashioned arcade games inside! The course doesn’t look massive at first glance but is more immersive than expected and not too overwhelming like some others, but still a challenge. Beautiful as well as the owner has mentioned that it is very natural, not overly decorated with silly obstacles, just using the environment to make the course intricate and fun! Had such a great time and was such a wholesome experience with welcoming and extremely friendly and helpful staff, who were more than happy to chat with us about the old arcade games and how they work. Cheddar is a bit of a drive for me but would defo come back for this lovely...
